I had considered signing up to be a mystery shopper -- a friend of a friend had sent me a couple of sites that she's had good experiences with, and it sounded like fun.
I don't really like people calling me though, especially since I only have a cell phone, and everyone was asking me for my phone number. Is anyone a member of a quality site that has never called? I honestly don't think they need to be calling me, since I'm easily and reliably contactable via e-mail.

I signed up with SG marketing. I don't remember if they asked for phone number, but if they did I didn't give them one. They email reminders about jobs, but usually you go their posts and apply for a shop. I'm in CAnada, and right now they seem almost desperate for people to do CIBC Shops (that's a bank). They're even willing to pay you mileage if you have to travel to one of the locations they want done. Unfortunately, they want experienced shoppers for this job and I'm a newbie...... I figure as the closing date nears and they get more desperate, I might get considered.

I tried to not give my phone number to each of the sites I signed up for, but it was a required field. :(
Edit: Just looked into that site -- in the requirements, it says that I have to be comfortable returning phone calls (and emails) to editors and schedulers. The form requires a phone number.

I have been registered with RoperNOP mystery shop for a couple of months now and they only called me once for a shop that needed to be completed the next day. Generally I get an email that tells me there are shops available in the area.

I fixed your link for you because when I clicked on it I was getting an error because it was not putting the ".com" on it. Hope you don't mind :)

not all but most. usually they will ask AFTER you do the shop...so they can reinburst you. Its more like a job then survey sites...kinda hard to explain. Ill look into to more sites if you want.
