I'm sure almost everyone wants more referrals since you can get so much money from them if done right, but I am not sure how to go about doing it. I've tried a little bit to advertise my referrals links on forums and joined this one to do so but I have only received one referral link so far that has done nothing. My main stie I am trying to recruit for is Treasure Trooper but it just does not seem to be working very well.

I have noticed there are a lot of "veterans" who have been in the GPT industry for a considerable amount of time whereas I am rather new to it. To you I ask this question, what are the tried and true methods of getting referrals that are active and actually earn money for you?

The methods I have tried so far:

1. Posting on forums (1 referral)

2. Referral generating sites - These seems like a good idea but I have to put so much time into earning the right to get a referral that I spend all my time on them instead. Also I fear I may only get referrals who sign up and then quit right afterwards since they just want the reward (0 referrals).

Well, building up a good and decent reputation on forums like this one will definitely make the ref links in your signature more popular after a while.

Join social networks and mingle with other people, some of them will check ouy your profile and notice your ref links :)

Besides all the ones already listed, you could print out fliers with your referral link and post them on bulletin boards in places. Ask the owner first if it's okay of course.

Well, it could be a good idea if you're the owner of a program but I don't think people will be able to remember the complete referral link, probably only the basic url...?

Of course you can make a personal website with a short list of your own favourite programs with a little manual on 'how to earn' attached to it?

Focus on basic SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and do a bit of SEO work every day to drive traffic to your blogs and sites.
