Hey all,
Don't fall for the BIG MONEY TO FILL OUT SURVEYS. I did. I fell for 39.95 for a list to survey companies. All the ads promising big money are BS!!!
If you're looking for a few extra bucks. and I mean few now. I've watched so many newbies jump on the survey bandwagon, it's overflowing. I signed up with survey companies before Survey Scout and all those scam companies existed. You can do a search and find the very same comapnies they want you to pay for. It's harder to win 100.00 from a survey company than it is to win Powerball.
My gripe is that I've been a longtime member of Pinecone. They happily paid 5.00 for every survey you filled out. Now they're trying to convince me that their members voted overwhelmingly for 3.00 a survey and an entry into a sweepstakes????? If I didn't elect for the same thing I'd never get picked for a survey. Why do they ask for more members if they can't pay their existing more faithful members? I've religiously stuck to their confidentuality agreements and been honest filling out their surveys.
I can say, if you want to be a dreamer sign up for those rip-off companies. Yeah the guy at the top of the pyramid is hanging out by the PC in his PJ's. the rest of us are suckers, recruiting more suckers. BTW Survey scout has a money back garuntee. That is a laugh, as rule #1 is to keep the money.. I tried to get my money back and HELLO NO CONTACT AT ALL. no I wasn't surprised. If you have 39.95 you'd like to send to them, don't. Send it to your favorite charity instead. You'll get more satisfaction and the return Karma is way better..

I joined Survey Scout a few months ago, before I had run across this and other free link sites. I requested a refund of my $39 from Survey Scout, and, it was credited back to my card almost immediately.
At the rate these surveys pay, it would take a long time to recoup even $39....

Shelle: That is a post I made in 2005, when I first heard about doing surveys online. Survey Scout made it sound good, so, I bit on their offer, which even guaranteed a $25 survey to get you started. Well, I paid my money, did the survey, and, collected my $25 reward(which were restaurant gift certificates.)
I continued to look around online, and, soon found that most of the 400-plus company links I had received from Survey Scout could be joined free of any charge. Well, Survey Scout did have that 60-day 'change-your-mind' guarantee, so, I requested a refund around day three.
As stated in my original message, shown above, my refund was quickly received. So, unless they have changed their rules, I would think you could expect Survey Scout to refund your payment, as long as you requested it within the 60-day time limit.
