SG Marketing Shopper Program is still a good one. My wife has just updated her account with them to find there were jobs on the boards. You go to there site as a member and "bid" on the mystery shop you want to do. Right now there are about 150 CIBC shops for Canada Locations and my wife just got her $28USD for doing her shop which took less then 30 minutes and no problems.....

They are also USA shops but I don't bother looking at them unless maybe we were going to take a trip and then we could find some for the road. These guys will pay gas milage allowences and are very friendly.

Is there a fee to join? I know I had signed up with another mystery shopper and didn't realize until after that I will not be able to view any jobs until I pay to be a gold member so I get emails about shopper notifications but then get "you must upgrade to view these jobs"

I really don't want to pay to join since I don't know how much I can do right now with a new job. I would like to do this on the side (for spending money or just to get some free shopping out of it LOL) but cant' seem to find a free one to join.

Thanks APest

i looked at the sg marketing site and i really want to join, but it says that most of the shopping needs to be done between 9-5. i work 8.30 to 5.30 on weekdays, would it be a negative impact on my chances to do work?

They can't possible do ALL of thier assignments between 9-5, but I would imagine quite a few need to be done at that time. Right now the assignement in my area is to visit a bank and follow up with a phone call. I'm not sure how all mystery shops work, but I am familiar with this one. You have to visit their website and check on the shop postings. The posting will list the city and a brief overview of the assigment ie. business name, location, hours shop must be performed, deadline for report (usually 24 hours within shop) and if you need to be a certian level to complete the shop (newbie - experienced). You must apply for the shop and recieve approval of your application before completing the shop. I assume that once you are accepted you will be given more details of what exactly the client is looking for during you visit. But once you are accepted, you could just NOT apply for shops that must take place between those hours.
