This free cashback finder tool is very useful - http://www.freetrial...back_finder.htm. It searches all of the cashback deals available from 10 of the biggest cashback sites, so whenever you want to search for an offer you can use this tool, and it will tell you which of those sites is currently offering the best deal with that particular retailer.

I always like to try and get cashback whenever I buy something online, but it’s a pain having to do a search on every cashback site every time; this does the job for you.

Incidentally though, avoid The Mobile Outlet, that offers cashback on mobile phone contracts. I’ve had all kinds of problems with them not paying me what they owe me, and have had to resort to taking them to the small claims court using the HMCS Money Claim Online thing!

Sounds like a good idea but that site gets zero traffic. It looks self-promotional but links here are not counted in the search engines, so I guess I'll leave it. Perhaps someone will find your site helpful.

It seems a strange assumption to make that because a site isn't that well known that it must be mine! I assure you it isn't; I found a site that people might find useful, so I mentioned it - I thought that was the point of this sort of forum. I'm interested to know though how you know that site doesn't get much traffic, I didn't know you could find out how many hits a site gets; how do you do that?

Anyway, back to the original topic, I’ve since found a similar tool to the one I mentioned above - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/...ites-comparison. This one compares 12 cashback sites. The good news is that only 5 cashback sites are included on both of these sites, so you can use these 2 tools each time you want to search for an offer and have 17 cashback sites covered. That must be pretty much all of them I should imagine, or all of the decent ones at least.

And in case anyone is wondering, no that site isn't mine either!

It isn't a strange assumption considering that 9 out of 10 times that someone posts a zero-traffic site, it DOES belong to them and is self-promoting. I am only going by experience on that. If it's not yours, then no harm done. :yay:

As far as hits and traffic, I use a number of methods to determine traffic. The quickest of these is by simply looking at its Alexa rank. If it is not ranked or has a rank higher than 1,000,000; then it probably gets no real visitors. Alexa is only a guide, though, and can be misleading. However, other utilities confirmed Alexa's data in this case. Also, Alexa is less likely to be wrong when it shows very little to no traffic as opposed to just being "off" on sites with traffic. Just fyi

Cheers,

That's very interesting, thanks; I hadn't heard of that Alexa site before.
