Does anybody know if using autosurfs to advertise a site and get hits could increase your site's placement when it comes to search engines?

It is highly doubtful.

Those sites use scripts that are not search engine friendly and typically only show your sites when the "surfer" is logged in --so search engines wouldn't see it.
