How much do you work on a new site?

Are you able to kickstart a site in hours? Maybe days? Do you need more than that to have it prepared for the "world"? How much do you work on a new site?

When my first site opened my partner and i worked on it for a month
before officially launching. Had to have everything in place first. Why
get started and find problems? We wanted as few problems as possible.

My GPT site took 3 days to code and design, it took 3 hours with no breaks.
It will also take forever to advertise as people stop GPT sites all the time disappointed when they believe that they won't earn enough.

Just work continually. Google loves websites which are improving with more and more pages.
