Yes Digg is one of the biggest social bookmarking sites around and it may give you extra traffic.It's always a plus when you write a little more than one article for your site,it may even be good to write about other things,in the hope that you'll get more popular by chance.You may try delicio.us as well,and a couple more of these sites,it may give you even more traffic since digg worked for you.Best of luck.

In my case digg wasn't that good, but still it brought few visits. I was never able to get the front-page in Digg (maybe it's OK since I would kill my server), but to be honest I was never that interested in it ...

It's a good way to get traffic, but this traffic is "seasonal" and I don't really like this. I would rather have a low but stable traffic and returning visitors than just spikes and then zero
