Many of us have at least one site. What makes you like this? The feeling you own a small portion of the internet? being your own "boss" on your own project? The thrill of owning it?

I have a blog because I want to have a source of income. A lot of bloggers are making $300 - $27,000+ a month by just blogging. One of the famous blogger who is making $27,000+ a month is John Chow. This is why I want to have my own site.
For me, owning a site is not for thrill, but it is the purpose of earning money online.

I like having the sites because i know they are mine .. I can manage them on my own and i can do whatever i want with them. My blog is not monetizing at the moment, at least not as much as other blogs, but it's my own little site and i like having it.
I also like the feeling of offering something to others. I may see something missing in a site i like to visit and i think "hey, maybe i can offer this facility on my own site".
Many say i am a bit stupid because i don't really make money out of them, i mainly invest, but i really don't care. they feel like my little children who i can "educate" hot i want to :)

I have a couple of blogs and I feel like I have more potential to make money online than working a regular job in the long run. I like that I get to meet great people from around the world and share my creativity.

I think it is great to have the ability to run a site as I think it should be run. To add the content to my site that I think my visitors would like and be helpfull to them. I am not so much in it for the money, I only have a small advertisement on my site which should give $50 (if they pay).
The main reason for me to have a site is to try to give something that can be usefull or entertaining to my visitors.

I own PTR sites and love them but is often quite a bit of work now that my partner
is not actively helping much due to health. I love the active members and many of
my advertisers but dealing with the chore of hunting down cheaters and bot users is
a pain!
