First of all, I am so, so, so glad I found this forum. I was very close to dropping $35 for a "lifetime" registration for links to hundreds of companies offering paid surveys, get paid to shop, paid focus groups, etc., etc.

I am new this. What are the best websites to register for to get offers for paid surveys or focus groups? Are there really surveys or focus groups out there that are high paying?

What should I be weary of when I register at these websites?

Any info would be helpful! Thanks!

I would suggest signing up for a wide variety of sites...as no one can really tell you which ones will line up well with who you are (your demographics). But as a rule, the greater number of legit sites you are with, the better off you will do.

happygal is right. You should join a wide variety of "Honest" programs to increase your chances of being selected. You can find a lot of posts and advice on honest programs in the "Programs that PAY" section of the forum.

Hi,
I would suggest not to pay for any membership. You can search for sites for free and visit different forums and read advice from others about which sites are good to join. There are lots of websites that give you lists of surveys, etc. , so don't pay for lists. Again, my best advice is to read other peoples posts and you will soon get a good idea of which are good sites to join. And also join a lot of sites because not all sites will use you for their surveys etc, so the more you join, then the better chance you have. Good Luck!!!

First of all, I would like to welcome you to the community. It’s great to see some new blood here.

On your discussion, I don’t think joining a paid survey site is profitable if you are outside the US. It’s better to join some ptc sites because they have lots of ads to click, and you can always purchase a referral to maximize your earnings.
