You can never forget the funny buzz when the modem would connect,and the stress caused by ten interruptions per hour.

It really wasn't until 1996 that I gave it a try again. By 1998, I started my own company dealing with networking, Internet, and security. So, it snowballed at that point, but I've noticed that I tend not to adopt things too much until the technology is proven. So, despite my typical mentality profile that would suggest I am an "early adopter", I am not.

My dad decided to let the family use the internet since he heard it's a goo thing, and look where it got us :D hihi
At first we used a dial up connection. It was horrible! Very low speed, it kept interrupting itself and it was just dreadful.
Then we 'discovered' the companies which could provide us with a sweet internet connection :D I have been online ever since! :)

My first computer was a old compaq, presario I believe it was, but then I got a brand new IBM that had Win95 which I used for 10 years before I updated to Win98 lol yes sad I know
