Hi Abraham,

The short answer is "no, not as far as the Internet is concerned", but the real factor is whether where you live has guidelines concerning online businesses.

For instance, I live in Georgia, USA, and there is no "license" to do business online, but I DO still have to pay taxes on money that I earn through the Internet from each place that pays me more than $600 per year. Where you live may have different rules.

It depends on which sites you mean.

There are some forums out there that are "revenue sharing" like this one, and that means you actually get paid by Google (or Yahoo). Get-Paid-Hwy, specifically, is the second longest running, high quality and "cleanest" forum in the "Get Paid To" niche. So, as we grow, the members can earn more and more. We have long-time, loyal members because everyone in our community seems to get along really well and truly wants to help others. That's what I love about GPH!

There are other forums/sites that pay members for interacting based upon some kind of point system or cash system with payout to paypal, e-gold, etc. That means you are trusting the owner of that site to pay you and that you hope they don't disappear overnight.
