I am wondering, how far have you reached in the ladder you followed, earning money over the Internet?
Did you start by clicking 0.0001 cent ads, then gone to 0.01 per click, after which you started reading mails and having referrals on your click ads world.Did you go in the survey world after that? Did you combine all those activities in one earning spree,or found something else that's worth more than all of them?Did you ended up making sites to guide and promote that activity?
Tell the steps you've made and what domains of earning have you focused on.
Where are you now? What are your thoughts about the past and present?

I was always interested in Web Design, so I built my own sites to promote various programs. I have found that it is easier to make money promoting programs rather than participating. However, there has to be a level of trust, credibility, and knowledge to successfully promote programs. So, initially, participation is needed in order to educate us to become experts in the subject matter.
Otherwise, a site made by those unfamiliar with the industry will amount to nothing more than those websites full of banners and links that no one will ever click on or visit again. Those sites do not make money. Of course, having a nice site with great content is only half the battle. You also need quality traffic. That comes with posting in forums, picky advertising, and constantly adding new, quality content (i.e. helpful guides, articles, how-to).

I am applying the same principle to my jobs online. I am not doing it all at the same time; so far it is beneficial to me. This has created some more time for me. At first I didn’t apply this to my job, so I always get tired whenever I am doing my job. It is so hard to keep up with the jobs.

where am i ... hmm... I'm quite at the beginning of it.
i have some sites but never thought about monetizing... until recently. So far i haven't earned much and don't expect to earn too much in the near future either..
I do hope someday i could earn some money at least for my necessities, but until now - a regular job will do :D

Started out with surveys (not really expecting to make any kinda of profit from them) and have stayed with surveys...No interest in the PTR/PTC circuit...I had since moved onto to IW Games where I have earned numerous amounts of cash/prizes etc....I just wanna have fun!!!
To be honest...I never thought I would achieve what little I do make online...I was always a skeptic...As I stated in another thread I am satisfied with the fun I am having with this online hobby of mine...I do make a little pocket change for a rainy day...

I am a web desiger, so the big bucks come from there. My sites offer a small revenue: 200 USD/month, while a design is 600-700 USD. Still I really like being online a lot and this means I won't lose my passion in my sites, even if I do make a small revenue. It's also somethign I do for fun .. I also design for fun (when you have some experience, it's really easy), but sometimes it does feel like work (especially when I have some horrible deadlines :D)
