How can we know if the program we have joined is the right one for us? the one that will give me back money for my time and don't scam me!!

There are plenty of sites that will present to you Get Paid Programs or Survey Panels.
New programs are born daily, but unfortunately most of them are either scams that rip off honest members' money and time or poorly managed and does not pay as much as they should.

we need maybe a Get Paid to Read Programs Authority, that could help us pick good programs and guide people away of scams so poorly run and not worthy programs change to benefit both advertisers and members.

what do you think? is it possible

That's a great idea indeed, but it's hard to make it real... A list with the scammers is hard to make, requires lots of time and research. Perhaps a list with the trustful programs would be more easy to create :D We made our own list of how to avoid scammers tips and guidelines, from users experience, that thread should be made sticky in order to appear among the first ones, as it's very useful, especially for the newbies...... I don't think what more could we do against scammers...

Ah, that is a good thread. I have made it a sticky in order to help others know what to look for and what to avoid.

There is an excellent site that offers all that you are looking for, in fact, it caught my eye when I saw USDollars8, because USDollars is the handle of the owner there. The name of the site is BeenPaid.Com and I can't even begin to tell you how thorough it is. "BeenPaid is the only comprehensive directory of free to join Get Paid To programs that are verified as having paid their members. Since 2003..." It provides a place to go and check a program out - they are heavy on Pay to Click and Pay to Read - but also other GPTs as well. It is a resource I use again and again. There is just a wealth of information there. USDollars is sharing years and years of experience. Don't spin your wheels! They have a list programs that do not pay. There is also what is called the BeenPaid Seal of Approval. Lots of helpful articles by USDollars.
