Just wanted to say I think this is a great idea, but I'm curious as to if Google approves Adsense being used this way? I manged to get a $120 payment from Google from my website Adsense ads, but they sent me several warnings as to what kind of sites the ads can be shown on.

Hello ICU,

That's a good question and there's actually some misinformation floating around the web about it.

Here's the real "skinny" on the subject as per Google themselves: We are allowed to show other people's AdSense on our site with their permission -provided our site remains compliant with the Google AdSense TOS. There is no guesswork involved, because I specifically emailed Google about this issue prior to making the decision to become a revenue-sharing forum. :)

Plus, we specifically had another member join using "get-paid-hwy.com" as his website address -knowing that it was already assigned to my account- and he was approved. That's even more telling when you consider that he was turned down TWICE before when he submitted his own sites. So, get-paid-hwy.com meets their criteria and is fully compliant with their rules and regulations.

I don't think you will have any issues with Google as a result, and if you did, I would be willing to contact them on anyone's behalf --related to this forum, of course. I have a fairly good, long-standing history with Google's support.

You can use either, but I was not approved for a Yahoo account for some reason. They gave no explanation and from what I've heard, they do not approve many people anyway. So, I don't recommend them to anyone simply because it seems to be a waste of time. In fact, I don't know HOW they are making any money with their ad network --seeing as how they ignore their potential customers and approve no one.

You just have to have a website that doesn't violate their terms of service. If you don't have a website, just enter "http://www.get-paid-hwy.com" and you should get approved.

Oh, and you have to have a SSN or FEIN, so I suppose this won't work for those that are outside the United States, but I could be wrong about that...

Oh yeah, they won't let you "not" see it for long. Once you're approved, they make sure you fill it all out. I put this note here mostly for the benefit of others who want to join.
