Or maybe, a better way to put this: what was the first sum you have invested in your business online? What did you purchase? Was this a service? Hosting? A domain? What made the investment necessary? It's nice to recall our first money spent for our business :)

The only 'investment' i made until now was a domain name.
I pay ~3$ a month for my site name and i think it's a small step everyone should think about doing.
It is not a huge sum, it is actually pretty small and already i won some dollars from advertising on the site. I didn't earn much, but im sure if i had a free domain name i wouldn't have earned the same sum...

Well, apart from the basic host and domain, the first earned money were invested back in order to evolve, and I am reffering especially at advertising.. I am now raising money for creating a company, hope it will work out fine! This is my main plan for 2008 :D

I think it was a 10 USD domain for a site. Then I just bought more domains, bought more hosting, some scripts while I was also picking some money as advertising revenue. My first investment seems now a joke, but it was a big step for me years ago

I don't spend too much online so my only purchase would be the domain and a small hosting account. I dream of the day I'd be able to buy advertising, skins etc. Right now the small investment should help with the start. I know there is a lot of work to be done, it's interesting to see we don't mention 5-10 hours a day of working on the sites as investment.

Oh my goodness... I don't even remember exactly but I spent tens of thousands bringing my travel agent-catered service online. That was my first online venture, I suppose.

Wasted 1,5$ in AdBux. Bought ads.
So, AdBux didn't deliver or they delivered and the traffic is worthless?
