Or .. person, if we want to be politically correct :)

Are there any mistakes you have done as a webmaster or web business person? Do you regret any of the steps you have made? Can you give us some examples of bad management you surely won't do in the future anymore?

I don't think this is a very big mistake, but still is important: sometimes I kind of forget whom I'm talking to because of the fact that I'm communicating online, and mix up formal emails with informal ones... I mostly address informal to the ones I should be very formal with, in order to remember them this is plain business, and that this is serious. When you're not face to face with the person you are dealing with, it's much harder, you have to be careful how you write your emails in order to not be misunderstood :|

I did make a mistake once, it was pretty bad but it turned out to be ok in the end.

I was asked to design a site for a small firm. We agreed on the price but the client did not give me half of the sum in advance as i asked to. He kept postponing me until i actually finished the site... He did not keep his word and so i almost worked for nothing.

So, i finished his site and asked for the money. He still kept postponing me and i was pretty stupid to accept this. He gave half the money after a while but kept bugging me to modify this and that and he was never pleased with how the site looked.

This was the stupidest thing i've done: i trusted the client too much and ended up working for almost no money at all... ive learned my lesson now and will not repeat the mistake.

I think my main issue would be the fact I lack the structure I need and I am not always as organized as I should be. I have already some projects and am involved in many areas and still sometimes it;s all hectic. I really need to make a clean schedule and plan everything with care, this is already chaos

I never tried too hard on these systems and my revenue is very small. This is my biggest mistake. Once you set your thought into something you should try to work as much as possible to make the best of it. I am just slacking most of the time .
