I think this is a post worth made sticky, so that all beginners see it first when they enter this category: tips for all those who are new in making money online! Things you would have wanted to know from the beginning, instead of making (big) mistakes, that would reflect later...

And I would begin with the fact that it ain't easy: it's just like any other normal job. The ones who choose working from home because they think it's easier, should rethink their decision, cause it's not. Not everyone has success. In order to win enough money, you must have patience for a long time, and work very hard.

There are many things you will have to learn by yourself: begin with documenting about the main things you will use further. What kind of making money programs exists, how do they work, which ones will suit you better? What risks exist? Plan how much time you will have for your business and how much money you could invest, how much money you will get back and how fast - try calculating the minimum, and the maximum you could win every month - but be realistic!

If you don't know how to Google search for stuff and how to inform yourself as best as it can on certain things, then don't even try entering this domain! You won't have anyone to help you whenever you need, and to answer your questions, you will have to be alone! Don't count on anyone else, try and do everything yourself, as it's better to depend on as few as possible.

Try thinking in time perspective... Will you have enough time to do what you want to do? Can you expand in the future, starting from what you do now? Do you have something new / original or better to offer, so that others will be interested more in your services?

Be VERY careful where you enter your credit account details!

NEVER spam, never annoy others with commercial messages, never offer something you won't be able to offer.

Never try and make money with illegal stuff. It's not like in the movies, it's not funny at all... all chances are you will get caught.

I'll be back with other ideas as soon ... until then, feel free to come with other advices!

These are all great ideas and i'm sure they are very helpful.
Another small advice is: start small.
Don't get your hopes up to much because you never know how things turn out. Start small and try to develop in time.

Thanks for these ideas they are good
I can say for all beginners also
First Be Patient and never think that what you are doing will make you rich instantly only persistence, patience and hard work will make you rich in the end.

Good luck

The thread is just awesome, love all the ideas.

I am not that old on the internet either, but I have also made my small list of what to do and what to not do:

1. DO research a lot. I would never enter anything unless I found out all I could about them. If it means paying myself or working for money, I do try to use google and read in the big forums all I can about the investment/job I have in mind.

2. I don't like spending a lot of money unless I make a lot. It's indeed intoxicating to earn some and then you feel like you can spend more. NO WAY. Keep the expenses as low as possible and invest with a lot of care. In the end it's your money

3. If you are involved in a good money making program think about it as a job. Don't slack, don't relax. WORK and be serious. It really does pay off ..

To chime in:

1. No one needs to know your credit card details. Use paypal for instance or keep your passwords and information to you. There are too many phishing attempts now to not be careful

2. invest little and slow. Don't put all your "eggs" in a "basket"

3. read a lot about the business, read reviews, ask for information

4. work hard

I totally agree , it just like any other job.. You need to work, and work hard to do well in to earn every cent.

Remember not to fall prey to promise of fast cash and huge rewards..if it was so easy everyone would be in it... and remember

if its too good to be true, its just that.

Good luck!

I agree with that. That's why i always suggest the newbie first go to the forum before you start the online earning since you can always get some advice.
