How can you keep on taking surveys even you know there`s just one tiny posibility that you actually win some dollars? You know that people earn a lot of monney by doing research on you and you get a so small amount of what they earn? I know it`s simple and quick to take a survey but doesn`t it bothers you knowing that you do them a great favor for 0 or small profit?

I don't do it for the money. I enjoy giving my opinion about services and products. The bonus is, I sometimes get to test out products, earn money and win prizes. I am disabled and find that do surveys helps me feel I can still make a difference in society. Plus, it is better than watching tv!!

yes sometimes i do think about it but i enjoy doing this. It kinda grows on you. It is fun. I like giving my two cents worth(pun intended) The only time you get frustrated is when you fill out a survey for about 45 minutes or longer and then they tell you that you either don't qualify or thanks for your time and bye.

Yeah, that's lame. I get that quite a bit but usually all from the same company.

Oh my, most of the time I do surveys while watching TV! I watch Food Network 5 days a week and HGTV every night!

What I don't understand is the surveys that they promise a new laptop and stuff. I have always been afraid of those personally!

I agree. I was telling people for forever that those "free ipods" sites were a scam. It wasn't until much later that it turned out most of them never sent any ipod and turned around and spammed your email like crazy.

There are worse sites, though, like Panda Research that have you go through a LOT of trouble signing up for offers that make them money. Then, in the end, once you have reached payout insist that you put a valid credit card on file and give them a LOT of personal information such as a social security number, etc. If they've already been shady enough to let you do all the work before asking for such information, most people -like me- wouldn't trust them with that info! So, they keep the money for your hard work. Yeah, it's a jungle out there, that's for sure.

I agree with you. I have had so much trouble out of so many places it makes you want to stop, but unfortunately i need to keep trying. I just wish I knew a good place that did not charge so much that you could get a website from. I have tried the free ones, but they don't let you put banners, etc. so what good are they. I tried out Panda Research a long time ago and never got paid, kept taking surveys but just never got to the amount to be paid at. The really good companies, research companies, just don't have that many for us, and the others seem to stop sending surveys after you have been taking them for a while. I guess they have heard all they want to out of you.

Hi g-y-willie,

I used to have a free hosting company that allowed banners, but it had some issues and I haven't had time to bring it back online yet. But, I do have a paid hosting company. I typically charge $9.95/month or $6.95/month when paid annually. What could you afford?

Perhaps I could run a promo for GPH members who cannot pay more than a dollar or two per month. Would a hosting package at $2.95/month (no setup; no contract; month-to-month, paypal subscription or credit card) be something that would help you out?
