What would you promote or not?

What kind of products you would never promote? For example, if you would be offered to promote something you either never tried, or you just don't like, would you still do it? Would you ask for lots of money to do this, or you just wouldn't care? And also, would you mention that you're only doing it for the money, or you wouldn't let others know (if you would post a banner on your blog, for example)?

I would never promote any kind of marketing service or ebook that I knew was full of B.S.

I was contacted and offered a good bit of money and other incentives to promote a product that was exactly that, but I turned them down because I prefer to have the trust of those who ask me for help rather than making a quick buck --even if it's a few hundred bucks per sale. It's just not worth a few thousand dollars to sell your reputation, you know?

I must agree with you, I've just refused these other days promoting some products I simply don't like... And also turned down a kind of advertising thing for my blog, but because of its format, not for the product: it would have brought me lots of money, but would have disappointed my regular readers, as it would have been exactly the kind of commercial I hate: the annoying one, that you can't close, and always pop into your eyes. God, makes me close every website I find these kind of ads on!

Yeah, no doubt. I can't imagine that those kinds of ads work, but sadly, they do.

I would not promote "fishy" schemes, porn, warez and all other contents I don't believe in. I would never promote a "mfa" (made for adsense site, with useless information, overoptimized and created just for the clikcs).

But I do like to promote ANY quality information, well presented ideas and sites. I am a firm believer in the power of good content on the internet and would like to see more of this and less of "fakes".

I've been contacted about advertisement for some GPT sites. I just don't feel comfortable accepting anything because I'm not sure I could be unbiased after doing so. Easier to stick to AdSense and the like...

i must be honest and admit i would not have a problem promoting products i don't like. maybe others like them and as long as they do not stand in my way, i have no problem promoting them.
I would not promote porn or illegal stuff. With that i have a problem.

I also stand by the idea that it's my site and what I promote affects my image. No matter the payment, I'd refuse to promote things that I think my visitors would find offensive or wrong.
