I think it's important that we know how to chose a program and not get scammed.
Do you have any advices in how to do this?
Are there some particular signs we should look for?

As someone was saying at another topic, you should look for how they are presenting their system: do they explain all their details in how they work? Do they respond quickly to your questions? Do they have good feedback on the Internet?
I think it's always best to google search for a money-making program, before you experience with it. Check out what others have to say about it! Message Boards like this one are also good to avoid bad services.

I would have some "tricks" to use:
1. I try to understand the business .. how does this work? How do they make money? Is this a viable business plan? If not, they'll fail and I'll go down with them.
2. If it's too good to be true, I'm out of there .. I don't believe in 'miracles' .. if my nose tells me something is rotten in there, then my nose is right :)
3. I google for them .. It's a good thing to hear what others have to say about this.
4. If I cannot find anything through google I ask on the forums. This forum is an excellent resource of information. I would gladly come here and ask the people here if they've done business with the service I plan to enroll in and what do they think ..

If you mean GP sites then like I always said: I first look for any grammar spells and if I find any then I remove one point from the trust list, then I seek any clichees in the text, exactly like netguy said. If I find something like "Get rich quick spending just 10 minutes a day at the PC" or any other sentence like this one wich ends with more thant one "!" I close the site as soon as posible and forget about it or try to warn others not to fall in the trap.

I am talking about any kind of paying service. From Google to paid emails or pay for surf programs.
We all must have our second thoughts before starting to use the programs... This is why i think some advices on how to choose one are welcomed :)
