Is it possible that in time money earned from programs that pay are enough for you to have a decent life?
I don't think one should quit the job as soon as he/she gets involved in making money from home, but is it possible after a while ? So you still need a job?

Well, you could definitely live from it, but not everybody knows how to in order to make enough money. I don't think you should quit your main job, or at least not at the beginning - cause not everyone has long-time success with money making programs. Some manage to keep their job and continue to make money from home as a second good source of money. Sometimes they decide to quit their job and try only to make money from home, and then it's possible they can't earn enough any more from it. It's a risk you assume, cause these programs aren't that stable... Personally, I dislike depending on others and having a typical job, and that's why I prefer being on my own, earning my money from home, from different online sources.

I tend to agree with Blair since this is just I do too. I still have my "normal" job and also work in web development. I would be able to live from the web now, but I am not yet prepared to take the plunge. No matter what, my monthly salary comes each month at the same time. And I can use my web money to fund other things.

it's always a good idea to be careful when deciding to quit your normal job, especially if the job is not that demanding.

I don`t think it`s enough for a decent living but it`s a good aid when you`re in dire need of some monney. Altough the process of geting paid is somehow slow at the start the monney that follow afterwards are enough to make yourself a present or someone you love, since the Christmas is on it`s way. So, it`s just a way to make some easy monney beside your job.

Right now for me they are not enough :) I make too little to buy bread.. so i really cannot live only with this money..
I think there are people who do this, though.. I think it is possible. It might be a bit hard but i think some can do this..

You could if you are successful but you shouldn't.These things come and go,having a limited life span, and you could end up cut down from everything and unable to climb up another tree.Where a normal job equals balance and evolution possibilities.Count your free time and try to earn extra from the 'programs' as efficient as you can in that time. It's the only reasonable thing to do,until you start making millions of those..

You are right. You never know when this income may stop. Someone could make high hopes and end up broke..
Of course, it helps if you don't spend all the money at once and save some but still - a regular job is necessary.

Personally, I view my Internet income as a "launching pad" and not a long-term income stream. If it turns into something long-term, that would be fantastic, but as Geenie says, it could disappear at any moment. I've seen my income drop by 50% or more overnight several times over the years. Then, I have to work even harder to get it back. It's a never-ending battle.

However, I view this income as a "cash cow" of sorts and use my money to "buy time" to pursue other ventures. So, I am never idle and I search out new ways to make money. So, I invest a portion back in to my online businesses to grow them and I invest the rest into my living expenses so that I have time to try new ways to make money.

Of course, not everyone makes enough yet to pay their bills and invest in their sites, but that should come with time and diligence. :)

while it would be wonderful to have it suceed.. one can't put all their eggs in one basket.. as most who make decent/any cash flow it is not from just one source.

Lots of good advice .. and I wish you much success~
