Made for Adense Sites - from fiasco to success

I would share some tips and then maybe you can come with some more:
Create good content for the visitors too .. many just put "SE" friendly information and the sites cannot be read by a normal human due to the excessive optimization for the keywords they have in mind. I think more care in this would really make it work. I created an orthodontics related site (since I wear braces now) .. it's seriously optimized, but still very pleasant for the reader. And adsense does perform well. it's not a MFA, but still there are good earinings
Be prepared to develop some more ..
I think many just throw a site and leave it. if I see it has a bit of success, I'd really try to work more on it and maybe increase my revenue
What do you guys think?

I agree with you that making sites "Search Engine" friendly is somewhat important but shouldn't be the main focus. If a site makes some money, then it's usually worth it to write some more content --especially since "new" and "fresh" content brings more visitors than an article written in 2004! haha.

Blend the ads in the design of the site, so that they don't be to intrusive. Many leave the site because they are looking for information but only find ads. It's important to now how and where to place the ads.
for example: place the ads after a title of an article and try to make them look similar to the site (maybe use the same color).

Very true... While we don't want to "trick" people into clicking ads, we do sometimes want to place ads and blending them in is so much better than visiting a site with annoying banners and huge multi-colored links! haha.

I should mention also to anyone considering using AdSense that making a site primarily for "AdSense" revenue is strictly prohibited and could end up getting your publisher account closed and forfeit your earnings. So, if you are going to do this, please please please take the time to write some good content and make a decent design.

This is true in general. However, people who build those kinds of sites work on the law of averages. They have lots of spam sites and when one (or ten) go down, then have more that replace those.

Ah, thanks for the info. I did not know about this tool.

Yeah, I know people who use this and it does work. It's still spam if you're not really dedicated to the content and maintaining it, but it does work. I know someone who makes thousands per month off of spammy sites. I mean, if spam emails and spam sites didn't work, there wouldn't be any, right? :)
I want on-going, residual income without having to "fight" to spam search engines. So, I -personally- won't be making any spammy sites, but I have been tempted.
