I recieved an e-mail at my school e-mail, which I have given to absolutely NO ONE! and so I'm wondering if the sender went through the university or something. Anyone know if this is legit. Please give me some details if you have experience, like what city you live in and how much you got ect. I'm curious but quite scepticle at the moment. the only reason I didn't imediately write it off as a scam was because it came to my school e-mail.

Hmm... Typically schools won't endorse "get paid" type programs, but if it's more along the lines of a study, it might be a possibility that your school allowed the email. However, a school will typically announce such studies in an email or letter that is obviously from the school.
The more likely scenario is that a spammer "guessed" your email by using a script that sends emails to millions of combinations of letters and numbers. Or, possibly, someone got their hands on the list of your schools email accounts (less likely).
Best of luck finding out who they are. If you can find a phone number for them, you should definitely give them a call and ask how they got your email.
Cheers,
Brandon
