I'm starting to think they have a limit on the amount of surveys/product evals you can do. I used to get things from them like clockwork and then all of a sudden, nothing. I asked and got the same "someone in your household works in a prohibited field" response. Hubby doesn't work in anything that would be a problem and I'm a housewife. Something's definitely up with the cone.

Hey there!!!! This is off the subject, but I just HAD to compliment GyrlGeek on your avatar. So cool....... I happen to watch the Cartoon channel and love the toons. Mandy (if anyone doesn't know, it is the name of GyrlGeeks avatars' character) is one of my favorite bad girls. Isn't Billy a disgusting little piece of ******? My other 2 favorites are Ed, Edd and Eddie and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Actually, I think all the cartoons on this channel are meant for adults. And of course I love Anime and Adult Swim. Sorry I'm off the topic everyone - :wishes: Oh, if by chance I was forgetful and rude, WELCOME!!! :D

I have been consistently getting surveys for pinecone within the last month, I have rec'd 3 $5 checks and have 2 more coming....but it could be possible they only use you for a period of time and then select a new group of surveyers... Like with SurveySpot,,,, I made about $35 off the bat...and for the past two weeks I have only gotten survey invites for sweepstakes!@ what's up with that!! have they merged with greenfield or something? lol

They have become super quiet for me too. Just to random pre-qualifiers that rarely seem to lead to anything. It's just the "in the club" thing about them, I think, that makes everyone so excited to try to find "the banner."

I have to email Pinecone again...I have not received any surveys since July and when I emailed to see if I was kicked out or something she told me to email her if I hadn't gotten a survey again in 2 wks (been a month since then)

So if you were getting them and now not getting them I'd drop her a line. I've never had a problem with her not responding to my emails. I know it's not going to spam because I have Pinecone under my contacts and also got an email last week or so about the payments going to paypal soon.

Just thought I'd share in case someone else had a drop in surveys with Pinecone.

Just curious for those of you who also find it quiet, did you happen to decline the paypal option? Just wondering if that had an impact?

Yes I declined the PP option...To me it has been no more quiet with them than usual..(just my experience)

Actually I do have something in my e-mail from them at the moment..Just have not opened it yet...I am fairly certain by the subject line it is just the usual household question update type email...

I too decline the paypal option, but haven't noticed a decline in surveys. In fact, I received a check from them two days ago and a test-product a few days before that.

Ok, well so much for that guess :) Ha ha. I had another pre-screener from them today, but it's been awhile since a real paying survey.

Finally opened the e-mail from them and lo and behold it was just the usual household questions with no incentive... I have only actually tested just 2 products for them in about a years time. They always ask about doing product tests but most times I never receive the product....

This is to WiccanWoman: I searched for 2 and 1/2 years. Same deal as you..... NO NO NO you are not dumb. It just found me too. It is a matter of being in the right place at the right time. That's all folks! As to unlimitedx: I also have not had any surveys for a few months. I have had several profile updates from them on shopping, grocery, beauty habits, ect. I just lucked out last week and had a survey from them. Hang in there, you'll get one soon I'm sure. I think they are making changes with their setup like they have in adding Paypal for payment option, and probably how they do survey invitations. Just by doing update profiles for them tell me things are different. In each one it is explained that with the completion of the update, my name will be put back in the list for upcoming surveys that match the subject of the profile I updated. That looks to me like a overhaul of their system. We'll see in time how things work out.

Unlimited...I had that problem. Hadn't a survey from July to Sept and I had emailed Karen Scott and she told me to let her know if I didn't have them in 2 weeks I just emailed her last week and told her that after going thru 4000 emails in my BULK folder (I have gmail) there was NOT ONE email from Pinecone then all of a sudden after that email I get the general household questions and another survey one.

Then I get an email from her saying that I had missed several surveys and they must of gone to my bulk folder (UM did you not read that I went thru 4000 emails to make sure of that LOL 15 minutes it took me) But now all of a sudden I'm getting them.

try emailing..tell them you heard someone else had the same problem w/o naming names of course LOL maybe there is something wrong with their end.

Good Luck to ya

:wtf: to the forum. Unfortunately you heard wrong, you must find the banner in order to join Pinecone. Very rarely do we get an email allowing us to let others know they are looking for more members. The banner is kind of hard to find but usually if someone finds it they post it here.

Again welcome to the group. Be sure to stop by the rules and regulations so you know what you can and can't do. If you have any questions please ask and you will get a lot of help.
