i too found a link post on another forum as i did not want to use this one as you had mentioned it was for 18-24 year olds, if you multiply the 18x24x96 then find the square root after dividing by 3.14 you still wont have my age. :lmao: but im in and had my first survey this morning, ;) and had my step daughter try this link today, she will be 18 in august. close to 18 has her own house hold to tend to. link seemed to work

Yes, and it is still working as of a few minutes ago according to a very reliable source. You do not have to be 18-24, so everyone should try it. You have nothing to lose.

;) I have been trying to get into Pinecone for (are you ready?) - TWO IN A HALF YEARS! You know what? I am glad I did not give up. I tried the link above and it worked!!! I just finished my first survey and boy did it feel good. You do NOT have to be 18 to 24 years old. I had nothing to loose waiting this long and I jumped at the chance to pull up an application. They accepted me anyway and I am 54 yrs. old. I just left it to fate - if it was meant to be, then so be it. I am so grateful to Karen Scott for giving me a chance because I am a serious hardcore survey loving person. Also I give three cheers and thanks to the person who put up this referal link. Thank you soooo much!!! And.... last but not least, I am so happy and grateful for this website. I just stumbled upon it within the last month - boy have I missed out these last few years, but anyway... This is an awesome website, I just love everything you have here, and in a million years I did not dream that I would hook up with Pinecone . I am glad I checked with you regularly. Again thank you!!!! Aelita

I just got an email saying that if you want you can now have your $5 incentive check sent to Paypal. I decided to sign up for it. I like the idea of getting a few bucks in paypal since I started finding stuff on Ebay that I want to get LOL

Did anyone else get the email?

They have not asked me if I would like my payout through Paypal. I have received two checks since being accepted on 6/22. Maybe they are only letting people who have been members for a while sign up for Paypal?

I haven't gotten any information from them about PayPal, either.....that would be convenient, though; and, probably less expensive for them.

Apparently there is a phising scam going on concerning the Cone and PayPal....

Borrowed from another forum... I tried to copy and paste and couldn't do it...Give a read at this link ....http://www.freepaidsurveys.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=590

Phishing scam???

Not sure I rec'd an email from the cone in reference to paypal...However, I did receive an email yesterday in regards to their confidentiality policy and it did ask that I sign-in and update my profile...However, after updating my profile I clicked the submit button and it would not go thru...The page would not load to submit info...I thought this was somewhat strange...Have I been scammed??? :wishes:

Either way if I have/haven't...the scammers didn't really get anything much as I don't use the email account I have with the cone for my paypal account...Beside ...the password are different at the cone and at paypal also....

Input anyone???

I haven't heard anything from Pinecone about using PayPal for my payments....
I did get the confidentiality message from them, however. :wishes:

I got both of those emails so I copied it and wrote to Ms Scott, I've always had fast response from her when I've emailed her so hopefully she will let me know. If it's a scam I asked her to change my password in Pinecone and I am going to change it at Paypal. They aren't getting anything in paypal anyways because right now I only have $2 in it and the CC I had tied to it is no good LOL (it was one of those you add $$ to it type)

Will let you all know when I hear back from Ms. Scott. Man I was hoping paypal thing was legit so I can get them in paypal instead of having to sign them over to my mom all the time LOL

I'm glad to hear others got the confidentiality statement from Pinecone. I did not get anything about Paypal, Dawn. I read on another forum that they were sending the confidentiality statement to members they were getting ready to drop. I have not posted anything about them anywhere, so there is no reason to drop me. Since I just got in on 6/22, I was hoping they were not going to drop me already. They sure don't send out many surveys do they? I got two last month and nothing since. They don't always send out the products that they get you to agree about confidentiality on either I noticed. I am not used to that. Usually if I get that far into a survey the company intends to send the product to you.

Do they always notify you if they are going to send products out? I am just not too familiar with them.

Thanks,
Lucy

I copied the email I got about paypal and then went to another email I had for another survery and wrote to Karen Scott gave her the copied email and asked if it was legit and sent from her.

Here is her response:
This email did come from me. We are in the process of offering Pay Pal
to panelists that prefer that method of payment. Thank you for asking.
***********************
Just didn't copy her closing with her name and usual so it is legit.

I've also gotten the confidentiality email before and never got dropped. Only time I got close to being dropped was when I was in the process of going from 1 email to another and kept forgetting to check my old email box LOL I've been with Pinecone for quite awhile now.
