If you are a homeowner ages 25 to 64 and want to participate in a message board focus group to earn some extra dollars, call Don Anderson at 800-601-0833.

This is what it is - it is 4 sets of message boards - 12 people in each message board and we need a good mix of areas across the country and ages (25 to 64). Everyone needs to be a homeowner with a patio or deck that they spend time on in the evenings in the spring and summer.

Two of the message boards are people who own and use torches on their deck or patio on a regular basis. Those we need to recruit fairly quickly because we need you to spend some time outdoors before the message boards start. For those boards, if you are chosen, you have to log on sometime between July 25 to 29 and answer some preliminary questions and then once the boards start (July 30 for 3 days) you need to log on and post on the boards at least 2 times per day - you will spend about 15 minutes per visit. When it's all done, my client mails you a check for $75.

The other two message boards are people who don't currently use torches - one group of former users of them and one group of non-users. Those boards won't be until August 13-15 and there is nothing to do in advance - you just log on at least twice a day during the 3 days - and that one pays $60.

Just rec'd a phone call from this...Answered a few preliminary screening questions...Now will just wait and see if I receive the 2nd phone call...Not gonna get my hopes up....They did ask where I rec'd the info. about the study..I just told them I was surfin the net and found the info. on a forum board....I didn't give the actual name of the site where I found this as it was borrowed from another forum.....Not sure where it actually originated.....

Just rec'd the 2nd follow-up phone call!!! I qualified for the study!!!

It was weird cause I was on the landline phone to Baker when the call came in on my cell phone about the survey!!! I had a phone in each ear trying to cook dinner and do my other surveys on-line at the same time!!!

Talk about multi-tasking!!!

Anyone else get in on this study???

I have been reading at the forum (from where I rec'd the info. on this study) that they have all the respondents they need...Don't know if ya can put much creedence in that or not....

I made the phone call about noon time today...and they called back the 2nd time around 4:30 pm est to confirm that I was accepted...
