I was wondering, what kind of demographics do these survey companies look for?

Because I signed up with every single site on Annika's page, every site on **********, surveyscout and so on and I don't get more then 5 e-mails for surveys per day and half of them are either sweepstakes or ones I don't qualify for.

How many surveys do you guys get daily and how can I get more?

I cant understand why I have never even gotten a survey from MarketReaderPro (signed up many times), never qualify at Greenfield and have neverrrr gotten a product test from NFO. These are just a few examples. What am I doing wrong? And of course my original questions on the demographics and how many surveys a day do u get?

I've also never heard from Microsoft, HP, LookLook, ACOP, Keynote, Centercode or many many others. :( :( :(

I even got rejected from Pinecone! :censor: :wallbash:

My demographics ar 25, female, white, non-hispanic, married, no kids, and $35k-$55k annual income. Is there something wrong with these demographics??

:wallbash: :o :( Hello QCGYRL, I went through the same thing, but stuck with it. A lot of times it's for an entry to a sweepstakes or just for fun. If you keep answering these the money offers will come. It could just be $2 here or there or points that you can accumulate to trade for gift ceftificates or prizes, it all adds up. I too would like more offers, but I'll try to be more patient and continue what I'm doing. Have you ever checked out Survey Police? This site monitors survey companies and gives you their opinion. Check them out and good luck.
Just me, Alohagirl

Paitence is a virtue--it takes time before they get around to you but in time you'll probably have more than you can handle. It took me awhile but now I get so many some days its all I can do to try and finish them. Other times I get hardly any. B)

Global Test Market sends out quite a few. Are you signed up with them?

Lightspeed sends me quite a few as well. So does Zoom Panel. Survey Spot used to send a lot but I kind of fell off with them.

Sites like treasure trooper and instantprofitz let you fill out some surveys at your own leisure.

Best advice though is to keep plugging away at it. i think i signed up to sites for several months before I found which ones would work for me and which ones didn't. the majority didn't but i think its person specific

Hhhhhmmmmmm. Have you filled out all of your profiles? If not, do so immediately. Either way I don't think its a problem with your demographics

If you have and you still aren't getting any surveys, contact the companies direclty and let them know that you are willing to take any surveys they send but that you have not received any lately.

Finally, five surveys a day for all of these sites is on the low side but it's not terrible. Look through the downline builder here and see if there are any sites you have not signed up for. Just a couple more that are decent are: SurveySavvy, HarrisGroup, ESearch, Myview, GoZing (actually gozing is not that great), Epoll, Opinion Outpost. If you can find any new sites to sign up with you'll probably get some more invites.

I stopped hearing from ACOP and NFO some time ago as well.

All profiles are filled out, maybe I shall contact the companies. I get from SurveySavvy once in a rare while, Harris regularly, GoZing/Greenfield isnt that great your right, Epoll and Opinion Outpost once in a while.

Just signed up with Esearch but MyView is by invite only. Do you have an invite?

Where else do you get surveys from regularly?

QCGyrl

It looks like MYView is not accepting any new members at this time:

How do I sign up to take surveys?
Unfortunately, we are not accepting new members at this time. Please check back again soon.

I'll check back in later and PM you an invite when I can.

Other than the sites I mentioned before I guess I am running out of places to refer you to. I do participate in MyPoints but it takes a long time to earn anything there.
Polling Point sent me a survey yesterday, which looks interesting, but this is only the second survey they have sent me in 6 months. I always fill out the surveys at treasure trooper and fill out a few offers there and at instantprofitz, some people have spoken very highly of dealbarbie as well. I lost my log in stuff to viewpointforum but they were good about a year or two ago. Plaza Rewards sends me invites for phone surveys once in a while that pay pretty well. Try inbox dollars and send earnings, too, sometimes they will have surveys to take. Brand Institute sends surveys on very rare occasions but if they pay good if you can find them.

There must be some other newer sites that are good. Jump in guys. It would be interesting to see if you were able to sign up with a whole bunch of new sites, how quickly you would start getting overwhelmed with invites.

If you still can't find enough to do survey wise you can always make a cross over to paid to click.

:) QCGyrl, I get surveys regularly from: NPD, Spot Survey, Lightspeed Panel, Nielsen Net Panel,Greenfield Online, Your2cents, Opinion Outpost, Testspin, erewards, sendearnings, click IQ, points.com, JDPowePanel, hotspex & zoompanel to name a few. Even when it seems hopeless, it does eventually payoff, I've gotten $30 in Amazon certificates from a few sites within 1 week. I just bank it to do some early Christmas shopping. So hang in there gyrl, "if you build it, they will come." See you bumbye (later) :P :dance3: alohagirl

Wow, I've never received anything from NPD or Nielsen Net Panel, Hotspex once in a blue moon. Can anyone else reply with who they get regularly from?

I get surveys from about 35-40 sites regularly. Some days I get 1-2 and some days I get 15-20. But it really took about 1-2 years of doing surveys to get to a place where they were coming in that consistently.

Ditto to Happygal - When I started in Nov 2005, I signed up with 148 sites over a three week period. The first few months, invites would trickle in in ones and twos a day. It took about three months before the invite count picked up to around 5-15 a day. Now I'm getting 15 - 30 a day. Don't get mad that you don't qualify for many. I qualify for 20-30 % of them at best. I've wittled the original 148 sites down to 51. About 40 of those actually pay. The rest are sweeps sites. I figure I might just get lucky some day. There are a lot of worthless sites. The most recent site I dumped was Greenfield. Countless surveys in 14 months and only $7 to show for it. A few of the more well known sites I dumped were NPDOR, IPSOS, ConsumerLink, and FGI. It took me 7 weeks to make my first buck on a survey. I've since made $650 my first year and am on track to make over $1000 my second year. It takes a lot of patience and perseverence but, you'll get there.

My best sites are common to most other surveyers. SurveySpot, Global Test Market, Keynote, Testspin, and ACOP. I've won one $5 drawing and had several product home trials. I've completed one Bulletin Board Forum for $75.

When you're first starting out, complete every survey you get no matter how boring or repetative they get. Always show a positive outlook. What does that mean? If you see questions like, " do you like to try new things" or " Would you be willing to change companies", say yes. That doesn't mean you can't say you don't like a particular product. I'm just saying on broad, personality type questions, keep it positive especially if you see these on a profile.

Demographics are a tough nut. Honesty is always best but, if you're not getting there after months, what are you going to do. You have to try something. I haven't had to fudge but, if you absolutely have to, try something small and wait and see if the invites pickup. Trouble is, you never know what they are looking for. Keep at it.

What are my dems? 50 year young male, Married, Retired (at least temporarily), $100K+ (barely food on the table here), Southern California, no kids under 18.

What kinda bulletin board forum? I have never won a single sweepstakes. :( And I am registered with over 700 surveys sites.

Can anyone else give me some input too?

Just keep plugging away, Its not the survey company, but the company that the survey for whose demographuic is important. i have been doing this for about 2 yrs and 1st year was pretty slow, but i stuck with it,. Now my advice would be continue. The more companies you sign up the merrier.

My favorites are Globaltest market- i am at the point where i get a 50.00 dollar check monthly from them.
Zoompanel- they send numerous surveys and easy to qualify for
others i use are:
psbsurveys
surveysavvy
myview
epoll
your2cents
biglook
U30
testspin
surveyexchange
ligtspeedpanel
garbpanel
clearvoice
hcdi
acop

Goodluck- you will never get rich but a extra hundred a month in my case never hurts

by the way do your paid surveys 1st then sweepstakes last- I have wone a couple odf swweepstakes- I have won 100 dollars from one surbvey company i forget their name.

Well like what has been said in a few other posts here in the forum, there does seem to be a decrease in survey activity, and it is probably because survey sites are getting pickier with demographic and the fact that there are now so many people doing the same thing you are.. you basically have to fight off other people to get more surveys and win more sweepstakes.. The market is pretty much flooded. Only thing you can do is cross your fingers and really stick to filling out as many surveys each company sends as possible.. that way they see you has a loyal member they can rely on to quickly and correctly do any survey they send through.. That way you will be among the first to be chosen for more and better surveys.. As far as demographic, it sucks because that is based only on luck.. :ticked: But don't give up! You can still get alot of great stuff, just take a look at our *who's getting what* thread to see.

I am like QCGyrl52500 in that I don't know why I'm not getting as many surveys as other people are getting. The advice that everyson has written is most helpful and I guess the only thing to do is just keep completing the few surveys and offers that I do receive and hopefully in time the number will increase. By, the way I also felt that my demographics had been a factor in not receiving as many offers, but now I see that probably isn't the reason. So, I'll just hang in there and hope it picks up.
