All right, I keep hearing about TT all the time. When I first started doing online stuff I heard they were going through some issues and have ignored them ever since. How many people here use them? How much do you earn (without referrals) a month? Is it easy to make money and is most of it from signing up for stuff?

Someone give me the breakdown please.

You make money on TT mostly by filling out those offer for "free IPODS, etc.". Those types of things usually get you $0.50 a crack IF they approve, which is a big IF. Normally, I have to do those 2-3 times, in order to get them to approve.

There are also daily surveys, which approve but may be difficult to qualify for, cashback on shopping and credit card offers.

I made $50 there pretty quickly, and they paid promptly. Since then, I have had a hard time getting anything to go through and have pretty much decided to spend my time elsewhere. Some people though have a great deal of success there, and if you can get some referrals together you can really makes ome cash.

Your spam and telemarketerr calls will gothrough the roof so get a couple of "dummy" accounts and free voicemail accounts. Let me know if you have any otehr specific questions.

You have to give a telephone number?

How much do those daily surveys pay?

If I did not sign up for stuff that revealed a lot of personal info (ie credit cards) can I still make decent money?

Thanks

The good thing about TT is that they're a huge community and have a lot of contests and interesting things going on. I also like how they send out newsletters every 15 days and they have fun ways to make you want to do offers. Such as, giving you free referrals if you get a certain amount of "pearls", "gems" for performing certain task etc. If you want to do offers, there are better sites out there since they don't really have great payouts and the offers sometimes approve.

You have to give a telephone number?

Only if your doing offers. You may instead use an online phone # such as k7.net ot privatephone.com.

How much do those daily surveys pay?

Each daily survey pays 75 cents. If you do not qualify, you can try agian. Of course, it's a new survey each time.

If you mean free offers, yes you can make a decent amount of money but like I said there are other companies that will pay you more. Another good way is to get referrals.

Let me know if you have any other questions. :)

I love TT's site layout. It's actually my favorite site for this reason. However... they pay far less per offer than most other legitimate gpt sites. I don't even bother with TT anymore. In fact.. I don't even try to get referrals there. Even though they offer 20% in referral earnings I would rather refer people to sites where they will make the most money themselves. Plus TT's customer support has always left a lot to be desired.

I average $550/mo from gpt sites. PM me for a tutorial.

I am a member of treasure trooper, which I found to be decent. However, I am a member of another site which is MUCH better than TT. I earned over $100 in 7 days by doing most of the free high paying offers. After you do those, there are many free trial type offers and such that give you a higher payout but may require a CC number. You can make at least $50-$70 a month though just with free offers. Overall it is a pretty good site, but if you are thinking of going with treasure trooper, I would say to go with this one instead. It basically has the same layout as treasure trooper, but more helpful mods and higher earning potential. If you want a link, PM me since I do not think I can post it up here.

I have been with TT since last August, and I was loyal to them for a long time and had a great experience. But when I discovered a few other great sites, in comparison I realized that TT's payouts were not that good, their offers were not as plentiful, and their (lack of) customer service left something to be desired. I think the final straw has been some big paying offers which I completed have not credited. So, in closing, I would say that they are a legitmate site, but I wouldn't put all of my eggs in one basket.

I havent tried TT although I hear they are one of the GPT forefathers so-to-speak. I hear their payouts aren't very high and I personally like supporting the "little guy" as opposed to joining and filling out offers to a bigger site.

Just like i'd take "mom n pop" restaurant over applebees any day! ;) that's just me

Yes, or I would prefer "Joe's Bait Shop" to the sporting good section of Wally World (Wal-Mart). :thumbsdn: I guess Treasure Trooper has so many members now it is hard for them to give any kind of personal service. I gave up on doing those 50 cent offers a long time ago-- they were so time-consuming, and never seemed to credit, so deemed them a waste of time. Same with the Daily Survey-- I would go thru pages and pages only to be told I didn't qualify. :thumbsdn: I prefer the "big-ticket" offers lately.

The thing with this industry that's so frustrating is that it sucks when you do something in hopes of getting something in return and you then get nothing (did that make sense, lol). I wish there was a sure-fire way of knowing that I WILL get paid if I do this, but I guess there is a little gamble. But, our time is valuable and we don't want to be wasting our time! :)

That's for sure. I was excited to do Web.com because of the payout, but received nada. I haven't even done any TT offers since December. Still afraid they won't credit!

I have never had a problem with TT paying.

However I have had problems with the offers I complete for TT crediting. I just assume that a % of the offers I fill out will not credit.

To be honest there are a lot of things about TT, good referral system, tons of offers, good contests, etc., automatic monthly payments, daily surveys.

The downside is that despite all of your hard work some offers will not credit, your spam and junk mail will go through the roof, and the large majority of your referrals will be worthless. I have 20 referrals, which is pretty good for not pursuing them too actively. The first couple of referrals I got made me $13.00. In the last 6 months they have made me nothing. I'm happy for the free $13, but would be even happier if they would continue to produce.

Bottom Line: TT is a serious money making opportunity, with some legitimate drawbacks

Hey bonnie, I know that web.com takes a while to credit like 3 months or something. Just so you know, it's a very, very delayed offer :)

Not to argue, but I wouldn't necessarily blame the site for non-crediting offers. Ususally it's the members fault if a offer doesn't credit...

1. You could've done the offer before. Advertisers are only paying out on new leads.
2. You didn't clear your cache and cookies.
3. You didn't complete the offer correctly.

I'm sure treasure troopers aren't trying to stiff anyone but, if the advertisers aren't paying them they aren't going to give you free money.

My problem with TT is just the fact that they are too big and payouts aren't high enough...

3 months? 3 months from now, I won't even remember what I did in June, let alone in January. :( Wow, if it credits, great!

I have been a member of treasure trooper for about 4 months, I have earned an average of 20 dollars per month. Mostly from surveys but lately there have not been any. Once in a while I will complete all offers where only a zip code or email is required. Some pay, some don't. Guess it's luck of the draw. Also clear your cookies every now and then because some offers wont credit if they have paid you all ready once.

I've gotten about $150 form TT. They used to pay pretty well, but this Dragon Scale nonsense has ruined the site.
Not only do they pick bad affiliates that steal leads(or TT does), they're adding fewer offers at lower pay(and still worse credit) than Shiftcode sites.
In my opinion the best days of TT are past. I wonder if they're still recouping from GameVance. I know that ruined a lot of sites, and I think TT got hit the hardest.

As for payment, I've never had a late check. They always paid me, but there are just better sites now. A lot of them.
