Hey there! I just got off a presentation call for Melalueca and am curious if anyone around here has had any experience with them? I'm a little disturbed that they don't tell you details up front, I've seen a few different "ads" for them and they are so secretive. I didn't even know the presentation call was for this company until they got started. Sounds alot like Amway. I'm probably not going to do it because it requires a financial commitment that I just don't think I can make, but still wanted to get your opinions on it.

I don't know anything about their marketing program. But I have used their products and love it. I hope that you are able to find out more about them.

Thanks for your reply~ what type of their products have you used? Part of the commitment is that I would need to purchase a certain amount of their products each month. The hostess said that it's not hard to meet the minimum requirement since they sell household & personal care products, but I don't want to make a commitment and then decide I don't like their products!

Reading on another forum it seems members have lost their money in this company, it is similar to Amway in the fact that it is MLM, always dependant upon your willingness to sell to family members etc. Plus it is normally cheap rubbish with inflated prices.

Eagle wings...It is similar to Amway; they have a wide range of products to sell. I have never used any of them, but, understand that they are good products.
I think you must agree to turn in a minimum order of around $50 each month for products. So, you would need to sell that amount to others, or, buy them for your own use.
Some people do very well in the program....however, it is a business venture, and, there is a financial risk involved.
I am not a salesman, so the plan would not appeal to me.

I have a friend that sells these products...Not sure how well they are doing with it now as I have been outta touch with them for quite some time. Yes I have used a few of the products and they were of good quality!!
Like Booker...I have no interest in the program personally...

Thanks guys! Yeah, I'm not much of a sales person either, unless I truly believe in the product. The whole thing just isn't sitting right with me, so I'll put if off on the side, at least for right now, and focus on some other things.

Wow, I didn't know Melaleuca was still around. I went to a presentation for it back in the late 1980s, and it seemed like they had good products (I am sure their offerings are much greater now.) However, I had tried the Amway thing, and Melaleuca was the same model MLM business, so I had no interest.
If you enjoy selling things and enjoy getting people to sign up under you, then this may be the program for you. But, for me personally, I would rather have root canal than make my living as a saleslady, especially one whose income depends on converting people to my way of thinking.
I would say check out all of the MLMs available and make sure you choose one with products you like and can really stand behind. :)

I love melaleuca and their products. They have improved my health. I agree, if you don't like selling or sharing the products with people and be willing to live a healthier life then, it's not for you. Personally, I love sharing the products and opportunity with people. MLM requires you to buy very expensive low quality products. Melaleuca is not an MLM. It is a traditional direct sales business. Just like a sales manager at a store has a sales force, so do we. We get to "hire" our own sales people. It is a membership club much like a Sam's, BJ's or a Costco. Imagine if Sam's gave
a residual income to every account the counter person opened, they would potentially make a lot of money, right? That is how we make our living in Melaleuca. It's simple yet not easy. Thanks for listening.
