I seem to have been deleted from applebizs database, but I didn't do anything wrong! I don't even know how to do anything wrong, I'm not a cheat bot, I'm a person! I'm really upset because I spent way too many 40 seconds for their e-mails to just lose it all for no reason. Anybody else have this happen? I thought it was funny that I didn't get any e-mails from them today so I went to the site, found I had gotten unlogged in somehow and went to log in, didn't recognize me, so I put in my e-mail, just incase I mistyped my password when I registered or something, invalid e-mail. GRRRR!!! OK, that was a long rant, I'm done.

Oh, you poor thing Swede for Jesus, I feel so bad for you and to be honest, I just don't know what to say. It definitely sounds like you were deleted from Applebizs which yes, can obviously happen within certain programs but with it being from Applebizs, well, frankly, I'm a little surprised; they've made a pretty good name for themselves in the PTR world (as far as I am aware). Personally, I believe you did nothing wrong as you said but I do wonder if maybe they (Applebizs) deleted you for reasons of their own (ie: not searching). From what I know, Applebizs is a fairly firm search site and to be considered an active member you actually have to perform 'searches' with most (if not all) of the emails that they send to you. Were you doing searches for them? If you are not sure what I mean by searching, a search entails more than just clicking on the link they send you; you have to click on the link that is sent to you (in your email) and then you need to click on one of the keywords that comes up on (usually) the portal page, which is the page with a whole bunch of different topics for you to choose from. Then, after clicking on one of these 'keywords' you have to go even a step further and actually click on one of those 'results'. Basically, to put it into a shortened version, what you are really aiming to do is actually get to an advertisers 'website', not just a 'choice' of websites. Are you following what I am trying to say? Well, either way, let me know if you do or not and we'll see if we can figure it out. There is an anwer there for you somewhere...we just have to pinpoint it.

Let me know! :P

PS: Oh, and yes, this has happened to others so don't feel as though you're alone. Many of us know exactly what you're going thru and 'yes' it sucks. :(

Normally you do not get deleted for not searching they just do not send out many emails. The reasons at Applebizs et al is for either clicking 3 cheat links or for using a proxy server ( they only need to suspect & they will delete a member) :P

I don't think they were sending me searches. I got e-mails that said I had to look at it for 40 seconds then I would be credited. I thought I was just supposed to do that. Oh, well. I'm doing OK with my other sites. What you described sounded like way too much work for what it's worth.

Well, Swede....they expect you to click on a link during that 40 seconds...not just stare at the screen. :P

Oh no! it just occurred to me, do all the other sites sending me e-mails expect me to click on stuff?

I get from Cassandras clicks
Teddy Bear clicks
Donkey clicks
Tesas Tea Mails
Sunrise PTR
luckybizs
Two Wolfs PTR

I think thats it.

Well, basically, yes, LOL. This is actually one of the things that helps a PTR site bring revenue in to pay you with. Granted, not all programs will make a huge deal if you don't click all of the time but some of them definitely will. With many programs the less that you click on links the less links they will send you to even click on; they'd rather send more emails to those they know will help them earn more from their advertisers. If they feel you are not active enough (ie: 'clicky' enough) for them they will likely send you less and less daily emails each day until you are basically receiving none. A prime example is Lucky Biz. They are a good site but they do want you to search. I don't know of anyone actually being deleted by them for not searching but, if you don't, they will minimize the amount of ads they send to you and put you on what they call their 'inactive' list. 'More active = more mail' and 'less active = less mail'. I know you feel that clicking is somewhat boring and yes, it can be, but to be honest you may 'prefer' to actually click thru each ad a little farther. This is because right now you are clicking just to watch a timer countdown, which is definitely b-o-r-i-n-g, but, if you actually click some more you will get to see actual advertisements for those 30/40 seconds instead which is, for most people, more interesting then just watching the timer itself. By all means it is up to you, but for the most part it really is a good idea to do a little more clicking. It will definitely keep your programs happier and in exchange you'll receive more daily emails which, of course, equals more money for you! All the same, I do wish you the best of luck either way you decide to go!

If you have anymore questions, just give us a shout. :)

If i get one that is a link to a search, should I just type in some random word? I don't always have something I want to search.

There is always something to search put ipods, skateboards, televisions, etc. What are your interests? What are you doing on the 'net? I search for forex companies. lately caravan insurance, I have just bought a caravan but I did some searches for caravans before I bought it. I am looking for a new PC I search for that, there are 101 things to search for on the 'net. Put these things into the search box if you cannot find something in the search criteria already created.

These sites do not expect you to search on every link but a good proportion always helps. :wishes:

I tried applebizs again, under my other e-mail address. The same thing happened to that account after a few days. They just don't like me I guess. This time I was really careful to click on every single search. Oh well, there are plently of other PTRs out there.
