;) Mystery shopping is a great gig if you have some time on your hands. I first heard of it when my mother signed up to do shops for McDonalds when I was a kid. She did it for about a year, and then couldn't stand to go inside a McDonalds. *laugh* I signed up recently with http://www.secretshopnet.com .
They have some telephone shops which is perfect for me, since I'm on bedrest at the moment. :-(
Anyhow...if you're interested, go to http://www.mysteryshop.org . Here you can search all approved mystery shop companies and what types of jobs they offer. I don't know if they offer international shops, but http://www.shopnchek.com/ says they are an international company. http://www.volition....mysteryint.html also has a list of international companies. I live in the States, so I don't know much about these companies, but please come back and post if you do happen to sign up with them.

My best advice: choose a company that has variety because, trust me, you WILL get sick of eating Arby's/McDonalds/DairyQueen. I've done shops for Frederick's of Hollywood (my husband LOVED that one), Best Buy, McDonalds, Arby's and 1800 support numbers. It pays pretty good, depending on the company, and they reimburse you for gas and milage. Definately do it if you're looking for some extra cash and you have the time. And a reliable car. Sometimes they send you beyond walking or bus routes.

Does your mom ever get that feeling when she goes into a McDonalds now and sees employees behaving badly and thinks, "Man, you are so lucky I'm not Mystery Shopping right now!" I get that a lot!

I've never done the phone shops before because I'm afraid they'll try to sell me something. . . but maybe I should try. What do they make you ask about?

My mom still says that when she passes a Mickey D's. The phone surveys for me are always evaluations of tech support or customer service numbers. I'm not supposed to tell who I get to call.

Yes, they are international, but mostly USA & Canada. Offers for Europe are rarely ( SCG no one offer ). Too bad. :wallbash:
