I have three payments from them that are now going on 9+ weeks since I have requested payment. Just got this from "Lauren" so at least it's a response...but note they didn't give any guarantees on timelines...

Thank you for taking the time to write us.

We sincerely apologize that your prize was not sent on schedule. Checks
and prizes are almost always sent to our panelists within eight weeks
from the date they were requested. Based on a large number of orders
that have been placed recently, we are a little behind schedule. Your
gift certificate, prize, or check will be sent to you soon. We know how
important each panelist is, and we are constantly evaluating our
customer service. Your email has been forwarded to our Panel Care
Manager.

Once again we are very sorry for any frustration we have caused.

We are in the process of improving our prize ordering process to ensure
that our panelists always receive their prize on time. We will send you
an email about this in the next few weeks. If you need any further
assistance, please send me an email.

Thank you for your understanding.

This is at least better than no response at all I suppose...At least they admit they are aware of the issue....

Not sure why it's taking so long for Lightspeed... I requested $25 on Dec 13th, and got my check Jan 9th... Weird! But all of these sites are weird like that!!!!

So...Does this mean they will no longer send out a check from the site if you make a cash-out??? They will only make a cash-out by way of pay-pal???

I took an interactive on Jan 30 for 5000 points and got paid thru paypal today, not a bad turn around IMHO

I'm thinking the extra points charged are to cover the paypal fees as I wasn't charged any on my end.

Either way I got $50

Keep Em coming! :dance3:

I just cashed out last week and it appears that PayPal is now the only option if you want to receive cash. On the bright side, I received the funds in my PayPal account the day after I cashed out. I didn't have a pre-existing PayPal account and I was a bit reluctant to create one just for LightSpeed, but if it's always going to be this quick, I think I prefer it this way.

Also, has anyone redeemed for an amazon gift certificate and received it from them? It says it can take up to 4 weeks for them to email the gift cert to your email (don't know why it would take that long). I haven't redeemed for one yet, but have enough points to.

Okay, I feel stupid now. I actually did receive my $15 check back in December -- the check stub wasn't filed in the usual place and I didn't remember receiving it (my husband must have slipped it to me to sign and then cashed it), but I just found the stub when I was looking for something else.

Sorry for the earlier post and for complaining about Lightspeed and Lauren. This is why I took so long to register for this site and start posting -- because I worried I'd do something stupid like this.

edit: I just discovered that I can edit my posts, so I went back and deleted my earlier post that this message is referring to.

Just rec'd a survey from Lightspeed...Initial survey had a pay-out of 50 points...I am to do a 3 week in-home study project on a test product ( have to mail the product back at the completion of the 3 week period) and will then earn an additional 1,300 points after the follow-up survey....
