Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd tell you about YouGov.com. For those in US you need to go to YouGovAmerica http://www.yougov.com/yougov_extranet/CMA/...on_insert/1.asp
and outside of US go to: http://yougov.com/yougov_website/asp_besUs...ID=7&wID=0&uID=

Hope i did that right lol. Anyways they pay you $2 to signup (credited as soon as you finish) and then 80 cents for each survey you complete. Payout is at $50. I've only done one survey and like I said it's politics and I don't know what the surveys are like outside of US. They say no more then 10 minutes to complete also.

has anyone else joined this? If so how are you doing on it so far? Do you get the survey invites frequently or just once in awhile? ;)

Thanks for the link! I just signed up for the U.S. one. Lots of political and religious questions . . . should be interesting!

I'll let you know if I get any invites.

B) yea it should be interesting to see what the surveys will be. I've only gotten the one since I posted but I'm wondering if the invites will come more the closer to election day.

Should be fun to see. Good luck

I got a survey from them to do but didn't have time to do it..wonder if it was the same one cuz payout was the same LOL your right payout will be awhile but on the other hand wow a survey you do and get paid for and they don't say "it's been filled" or "you didn't qualify"

Gotta look at it that way I guess.

Ain't that the truth!

Yet, I have to wonder if they'll ever send me enough surveys to make $50.

BTW if it is the same survey, it's supposed to be open until Wednesday. It doesn't take much time to do, if you want.

Good Luck. I just got another survey yesterday (or Saturday can't remember which day LOL) so they surveys are still coming even after the election. I'm up to about $16.80 including the $2 they give you for signing up. It will be awhile to get to payout ($50) but I don't mind...when I get to payout and get the check it will be needed for something I'm sure (hoping it comes when I don't have to use it on something but for myself :D LOL I know that is mean)

Good Luck to everyone...at least they email you and let you know when the survey will be opened to complete.

Is anyone still doing this site? I just got a survey from them the other day. I'm up to almost $20. Think it will take awhile to get to $50 since the surveys have slowed down some.

At least it's still going even slowly.

Hi to all here,
I just happen to be here reading different forums and saw this post. I am a panelist @ yougov.com (america). I just came from the site (checked my account) I forgot about the site until I read this post. My account reflects $3.85 last survey taken was back on Feb 22 I haven't rec'd a survey from them since. Just thought I would pass this info. along ....
Regards,
Rockin7e

Could you have missed an invite by chance? I got one Feb. 22nd also
Also have done them on April 9th and April 23rd. The last one I did on the 23rd is a 4 part survey I think it was 4 I know they said there were different parts and each part paid 50 cents and after you complete how ever many there were you will get $5 or so.

I have noticed that during the election the surveys were very frequent. Almost once a week I was getting them. I signed up in July and was looking at my account and seems like I was getting one every week from August to November then it slowed down. One in December, none January and 2 in Feb.

This is probably not a site then for those who want to make payout real soon but if they don't mind waiting then I'd stick it with it. I'm up to $20 and it does seem like I'll never reach that $50 payout but I'm sticking with it to see:

1. how long it will take to get there
2. if they do pay when you reach payout and
3. if they will continue to send out surveys after and 4 how many you will get after you reach payout.

Good luck to those who are still with YouGov and maybe the surveys will pick up soon.

I doubt I missed an invite as I check my mail several times each day....I always check my filtered mail before tossing it out as well...It may be that I am not a registered voter  I can't remember if that was one of the questions they asked when when I initially signed up with them. Anyway....I am a panelist on so many other sites that I stay fairly busy as it is.

Rec'd a survey invite from yougov today. Payout was a whopping 80 cents!!! I still have less than $5 in my account. With a cash-out of $50 I think I am just spinnin my wheels with this site. Has anyone else here had better luck with the site than me???

Well, it took me a while to figure out where to sign up! I'm in canada and when i used the outside US link it was looking for people in Europe. So I tried to find a Canada site, and I found results for suveys about Canadain topics but couldn't find the signup. Then I tried you US link, and that's for canada too. When you pick a state, you can select Canada. But the intro survey is all American politics. I wonder if they have any questions for us in the Great White North....

I'm slowly but surely getting caught up here LOL

I've been with them since before the Presidential election. Before the election the surveys were coming pretty quickly then after they slacked off. I just did the one that was posted on Wed. I have about $21.55 in my account...looks like it may take awhile just hope they will pay out when everyone reaches payout (if a lot of people signed up at the beginning and are getting the same amount of surveys then they may have a lot of payouts at the same time <_< )

:protest: Oh, my! I did a survey for them the other day 80¢....I haven't reached $3 yet!

Maybe things will pick up during the elections next year, reckon? :dance3:

Well I'm in Canada, and somehow I was allowed to sign up, I'm up to about 35.00 with them. But what really makes me mad, is that they never responded to me on my inquiry that I was Canadian, and they were asking me questions as if I'm an American, like I vote in the US presidential elections.

I wonder if I'll ever get paid even when I reach 50 dollars.
