I never thought of mystery shopping because I live in a very romote area in Canada, but lately I thought I would check it out.

I have joined a few without any expectations but this one actually has one in the town 20 minutes away which I go to weekly. Looks pretty cool.

I don't know much about them, does other people here know anything.

Wow, am I ever replying to an old thread here, but I am wondering, Vicki, have you learned anything about Spot Check Services yet? And has digital dork given you anymore great advice, LOL? I'm considering getting into the mystery shopping thing too, but, being in Canada, I just don't know how well it would go. Have you had any luck, or did you just opt out of that idea all together? Thanx for any info.

I did quit before I could do a shop with them. There weren't many in my area and the incentives were low for thoughs that were. "free hour of pool at a bar" but if I got to get a babysitter to go there it isn't really free plus gas. There were only a couple I would have liked to do but I didn't have the time to go. She sends daily e-mails to check out the shops and she doesn't want inactive people on her list so I quit because I was inactive and never did a shop. I also heard that it is hard to get the money. They pay but you must dot all i's and cross all t's or else they won't pay you.
I don't have anything bad to say about them but nothing wow! Your area could be very different then mine, since I am in a VERY rural area the fact there was any here at all was promising so you may have better luck.

Thanx Vicki. I just may think about it. I'm in Victoria, so it's not like I'm hidden away from the rest of the world or anything, and I guess you never know. I may just give it a try and see what happens.

Sorry to hear you didn't have better luck with it. :(
