:D Finally got a check from Survey Spot - asked for it August 1 and it came today !!
Funny thing, it was dated August 10th (but who cares)

Did anyone else get an invite from Survey Spot for twenty dollars to watch a commercial.

It sounded good to me!! The strange thing is they are going to email me the commercial on a dvd. How much sense does that make?? what kind of commercial is this? has anyone else ever done a survey like this? I guess it really doesn't matter. I'll do just about anything for twenty bucks...

Haven't rec'd that study...However I have done several studies from different sites where I had to watch a program on my computer with a cd they sent to me...Actually...I just remembered...I did do a DVD one once...it was on a new 30 minute sitcom...

Didn't get an invite for the commercial but did receive a $5.00 check a couple of days ago. Thet must have sent them out all at once. :)

Just did a survey for them and they said I would be able to participate in an in-home product test about... toaster pastries. Yum lol. ;)

Hi all, I'm new here.

From some of the posts I've read it seems that these survey programs take a really long time to pay you. I wonder why? You would think what with PayPal, StormPay, CacheCard, etc. that you would get paid instantly.

I think 6-8 weeks to receive your money is kind of over the top! :thumbsdn:

Surveys tend to run a little differently, I think. They need to wait for the study to be complete before they send out payments. They probably need to compile all the data before they get full payment from the company. I don't mind waiting, especially for the companies that I know DO pay. BTW, I got my $10 yesterday.
