Is is worth it to join these mystery shopping companies as a resident of Manhattan? Or are they only looking for people to work large shopping malls?

Thanks for any help you can provide. :dance3:

ezjobtrade,

Do not post your links like that again. You may place them in your signature, but do not try to be "sneaky" by making them "look" like a signature. Next time, you will be banned. Just a friendly warning. :thanks:

Absolutely YES.

However, this other user simply tried to make it "look like" his links were placed in his signature -when they were really part of the post itself.

Does that clear up the confusion??? :)

Yes, I guess it does. I just don't see many referrals in signature lines, and, wondered about it!
Thanks.

:wishes: Booker

If you are a guest on the site ie not logged in the signature links do not show up, it's only when you join or log in that they become apparent.

But most people have an avatar & signature links, mine go to my ptr site, & my autosurf & traffic sites, which are all referral links.

:thanks:

Bruce

Booker, you DO use your referral link in your signature. Do you see mine?

Yes, Lupian, I did see your's, but, I've seen a lot more sites shown in the signature lines of other posters that do not have their referral ID's....

If they wanted the site in their signature line, why would they not include their referral ID? :thanks: Just curious.....

Hey Booker,

Could you point out someone as an example??

They are probably "masking" the URL (with the referral ID) to show as a link without the ID.

To do this, they make the URL code contain the refID but display the link without the refID or something entirely different (as in: Join Now!). Hope that's not too confusing or off-base of what you meant :thanks:

:wishes: Booker The way to do it is to put the code buttons in your user cp into guided mode then click http:// it then opens up a box at the top of the page which asks for your complete URL (as you have it shown now in your signature)

Click OK then it says My Website, delete that & write in what you want to call it ie 'My Downline Builder' or what ever you like. Click OK then hay presto the completed phrase will appear in the message window.

If you then update your signature it just appears as the shortened version. You can also add a colour (color)

Just play around with it see what you can make.

:thanks:

Bruce

PS whatever CHANGE COLOUR to COLOR

OK...I'm just gonna have to check that out, and practice some....maybe tomorrow...when my brain isn't so tired! :)

Thanks to all of you for explaining it all!

Brandon....I couldn't give an example right off. There are many links in signature lines, but, not many have the referral ID. That's what was confusing me....Now, Bruce explained how to drop the ID, and, now, I'm understanding it a little better.
