I was just wondering, do you thimk that its safe giving all your information to this software? Would'nt it be a form of spyware? I dont save my SSN, telephone, or banking information. But what about the passwords and such?

From everthing I have read regarding roboform...There is no syware/adware associated with it. I have been using the free version for approx. 6 months now and I have never encountered a problem with it. IF there were spyware associated with it my anti-virus would be screaming at me. My anti-virus alarmed me to the fact of adware on my computer from otx research (survey site). This is just my expierence with it. Now programs such as Gator...I have read where it is associated with adware etc.... I am in agreement with you on the very personal info. as well.. I do not enter ssn or credit card info. either...The program does save quite a bit of time and keystrokes as well. Just my humble opinion here...

 only problem with the free version - it has limited space to hold your information - I ran out of room already and have only been using it for a little over one month :howdy:
btw, I only put in my name, address, phone number - not any passwords - I enter that.

just my 2 cents,
larafl

Doesn't your browser save any of your info for you?? I use a Mac and i know a lot of things are way different, but I have a autofill feature and it can store username and password for - well, I don't know how many for sure, but I probably have over 100 saved already. I assume it's my broser because it doesn't work when I use a different browser but you never know  , :censor: mac, i don't know if i'll ever get used to it.

Yeah IE does have the option of auto fill..However I find it a PIA personally...Cause if anyone else was to use the computer...they will be able to see your business...so with that I have disabled that feature on my computer...And I don't think it is password protected either????
