This site is great for writers to make some cash with. I have been a member since 08/06 and have made over $800. They pay people in two ways. The first is the they offer you anywhere from $3 - $40 for any piece of content that you submit (if it gets accepted) and then you also make money from generating traffic to your content. They currently pay $1 for every 1000 people you bring to your content. I submitted an article just the other day and they paid me $5.99 although most of my offers range from $3-$9.

I recently had to send in tax information because I made over the $600 'tax free mark'. Its a really cool website and they accept just about anything you want to write about. Do a search for bulletbutter if you check it out, I have over 133 published content there.

Paid writing is an area I want to look into more. Thanks for sharing your experience. Those are great numbers! I am just starting to write. It was something I used to enjoy many years ago. When I started a blog, that was a stretch because I had not done any writing in over 10 years. It has been great and I'm starting to feel a little less rusty. I was just reading a list of tips earlier. I think the first was to read, read, read and the next was to write, write, write. It gets easier the more you do it. But, you might not want to jump right into writing for pay, at least I don't. But, you also can't procrastinate. So, it won't be much longer before I will be exploring this further. Very helpful post.

I'm a member there but I've only had a few poems and a photo published there so far. I'll definitely be adding more content though. Would love to make $800 now. lol. Wouldn't we all? lol

Associated content is a great site. I have been paid by them as well. About $50. Most of my articles brought in about $3-4.

Have you noticed if they pay higher for the topics they ask you to write about? Wrather than just writing about anything.

No money is tax free. Making less than $600 doesn't mean you don't have to pay taxes...that's just when the employer becomes legally liable for not reporting it. You're supposed to pay taxes on any income.
