Hiya to everyone who lurks around here but hasn't taken the time to join!
We know you're out there, and we're glad you all check back in from time to time. :)
Getting Started in GPT? Don't even know what GPT means? No worries! Just read through some of the helpful posts and feel free to join in and make some posts of your own.
Just remember: You will NEVER get in trouble or yelled at for asking questions!! The only people we turn away are those whose first post is spam and do not care about learning at all. If you do not mean to spam, then you have nothing to worry about! I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here at GPH!
As for getting started, be sure to check out the "Programs that PAY" and "Programs that DO NOT PAY" sections of the forum. Those are some good starting points. When you're ready, be sure to say "HIYA!" in the newbies area. We'd love to meet ya, if we haven't already!!
Ciao,
Brandon

To any other lurkers who want to participate, don't be shy!! Step right up! hah :)
Cheers,
Brandon

I have to say that when I started posting here I had never posted in an internet forum before. But the people here were so willing to help, I never had trouble finding the information I needed.
This is not a forum where "newbies" are ridiculed or talked down to for making mistakes. I have been to other forums where I was horrified to see what I thought was poor treatment of people who made honest mistakes or had valid questions. Instead most people here respect the forum for what it is, a valuable resource for GPT information and resources.
I can't tell you how many referrals, opportunites or new sites I've got since being here, but it's a lot.
We have a little bit of fun here too from time to time
Looking forward to meeting some new members!!!

Hi,
I am one of the lurkers who has lurked for quite a while :D Actually I have signed up twice before. The first time I forgot my user name and password. So I signed up the second time. But not long ago when I wanted to make a post, I found I was unable to login (my account was deleted) So here I am again....
Just curious, how many posts do I need to make in order to be "alive"?
Thanks!

Hey there, ciber8mx!
Sorry you got deleted before. The last time we did "spring cleaning" around here, I believe I deleted any account that had not posted in over 6 months and had less than 10 posts (or something like that). That will probably be the standard moving forward also. So, at least 1 post in 6 months should avoid getting deleted.

At any rate, welcome back ...again

This also was my first forum. I had a horrible experience in a forum where I gave an opinion of a show. The subject was "What is your least favorite show on **** and why?" First, my opinion was very mild compared to some - keep that in mind and I still got tore up. I said " I would rather cut out my spleen, than watch *****" and I got a very graphic reply in HUGE BOLD LETTERS saying "Lady I would like to cut you up" I put in a report to admin. and there was no response. Then I started to see other nasty replies to new people. Needless to say, I bailed out of that forum. One thing is SOooooo true.... This is the BEST forum around as far as I am concerned. It is a good feeling to know that you are made to feel welcome here. People need to realize that they all were "newbies" at one time or another.

This site is great! I've been doing a ton of research on working from home and feel as though I've been to just about every forum out there on the subject. This is by far the friendliest and cleanest forum I've been to! There's nothing I hate more then after going through ad after ad after ad of spam and garbage to go into a forum of "legite" opportunities and run into the same ads.
Thanks to all the mods who work so hard to keep this place clean from spam!

(They also have some pretty cool smilies!)

If you are comming in to look this foum over, that is great we are a happy bunch of people and everyone here is most helpful. It is a fourm were we talk about making money but we also talk about what we win what kind of freebies we get in our snail mail, and tell jokes clean ones, and at times we talk about us. I am fairly new here but they have welcomed me and helped me when ever I've needed it. I have needed it alot this is the first computer I've ever owned and only had it about 4 mo.
I found out real fast how much trouble a newbie can get into. I hope you come back to vist and join us we have great mod's and the owner is the greatest they listen to us and do their best to make us feel important, and we are important we are the member's. At times we are

Yes, we try to be as helpful as possible. Welcome everyone thats new to the forum, and HUZZAH! I have been on other forums (mostly to do with gaming) and its nice to come back here and share/recieve advice from all the friendly people. I think thats why this forum is so great! Anyways thats my 2cents. I have a 3 year old next to me thats shoving strange things from the floor into my face, so my mind has now gone blank. >.<

I have been noticing about 30 guests lurking around at any given time over the past week. So, I thought this might be a good thread to drum up.

Cheers,
