Is there any program out there that pays decent minus the many hours that you take filling out the surveys?...

We envision that our program (arcSurvey) will be a good return for the time.
I suppose members of the site will have to testify as to how easy it was to make the money each time, but our first survey just went out and paid $5 for about 5 minutes of time.
If interested, the link to join arcSurvey is in my signature.

$5.00 for a survey that was less than 5 minutes long? arcSurvey rocks

Other than that, the only other one I know for sure is good is Pinecone.

Hi Crystal,
Hey, did you remember to request payout right away? If so, you'll get your cash in just a couple of days

Yes I did

Thanks for letting me know! It said it would be there the first of the month, though?

Hey Brandon,
It’s nice to see you back. As a matter of fact when I joined you were away so I had never actually seen you around. But I herd about you alot...

Anyway, I tried to join arcsurvey and its stalling with the marital question (will not let me proceed). Thought you might be able to help with this. If not that’s ok.

Sorry... I just now saw this thread post. Payments are scheduled to go out between the 1st-5th of each month. So, when I say the first of the month, I don't mean the 1st right on the dot.

This will depend upon our clients or upon our own internal need for surveys. As of this post, we have sent just the one survey (our first) that was a great success. It went out to 1,000 persons and paid $5 for less than 10 minutes of questions.
We will be sending more soon that will hopefully (for you) match your profile. Just be patient as we are just now gaining momentum.

Hello, theliff

I suppose it's ok if people want to join without choosing the marital status, so I just made it to where you can join without choosing one. However, just be aware that by not choosing certain fields, you may exclude yourself from certain surveys.
So, please try again and you may leave that field without specifying a marital status.
Cheers,
Brandon

Brandon...I think Crystal's reference to being paid on the first was because, since she received the survey on March 1, she was expecting to be paid for it on the 1st of April....
Now, that's just my opinion....that's what I thought she meant when I read it...that she wasn't expecting it to be paid immediately, but on the next 1st of the month that came around.

I did think that's what it meant Booker. But I did get the payment a couple days after I requested it :D

Brandon,
It must have been a flook. I tried again and it worked with me putting down my marital status. Thanks for your suggestion though.

It's different for everybody. Depending on your demographics some survey sites will work for you while it won't work for others and vice versa. You may check out the Programs that pay and Programs that don't pay sections to find out which sites to join which to avoid.
Good luck and welcome to the world of GPT!

I've done a search to try to find a thread that discusses this specific topic but haven't found one. Hope this is OK. I have questions about demographics and why I might not be getting survey invitations. I have signed up for over 40 sites in the last two weeks and think I've completed less than a dozen surveys. And most of these give you points and not actual cash. Is a single, older woman without children a bad demographic?

la.vandalay....I hate to say it, but the best thing you can do is be patient. It was easily two months from the time I did my big huge signup to when I started getting surveys. In the meantime, keep researching good sites and keep signing up with them. Hopefully things will pick up for you in the coming weeks.

Not neccessarily...Just hang in there...Surveys will come to you...
Pretty soon you will have more than your share and you will be bizzy...bizzy...bizzy
As Happygal says...It may take a couple of months for them to start rolling in....

Thanks for your advice. I didn't realize it would take so long. Is there such a thing as signing up on TOO many sites?

Jul 17 2006, 07:16 PM
Well...That all depends on how much time you wanna put into doing surveys...I am signed up with well over 50 different sites... That is the only way you will make any kind of decent pocket $$$...Just remember...Don' t think of this as employment...Think of it as pocket $$ for a rainy day...The $$$ will come but it will be sporadic....

Yeah, I'm signed up with 85 and believe me, you can NEVER be signed up to too many sites. I still am signing up to this day. There is only a handful of sites that send you survey invites on a daily or very regular basis. Most will send you invites, but have patience. A lot of the companies send out a few a month, or a few every few months, few a year, etc. That is why the more you sign up with, the better your chances are. One thing though, it is worth hanging in there.

Wow, that's a lot of sites. Do you ever worry about having your personal information out there in so many places? Do you think it makes us more susceptible to identity theft? <_<

No, I don't think you can be signed up with too many sites...but I cwould counsel against doing what I did and just signing up and signing up and signing up without doing research. Take your time, get a feeling for who you can trust and see what they recommend doing and go from there.

Happygal is right. I started showing interest in surveys around 2 1/2 years ago. That's how long it has taken me to get 85. You really have to take your time and research them. I made mistakes in the very beginning (I had no clue what I was doing and no support system). Through learning hard lessons, I had to figure it out on my own. Let me tell you, it was HARD WORK. I wish I would have come across this forum back then. The most important thing to do is to thoroughly check out the whole survey web site. Read all the small print. Before signing up, make sure you read the Privacy policy and Terms. NOT just skim through it - I MEAN - take the time.... and make SURE you read it all, especially anything about "third party" involvements. I KNOW, it is very long and boring to read, but after a while you'll know even how to read it and know where to look for stuff in the Privacy Policies. I have had to change me email and literally start all over from scratch, but it was well worth it. If by any chance a "bad one" slips into my list, I immediately study every inch of the junk email and get every email address and name the have and I go to TOOLS, click on INTERNET OPTIONS, click on PRIVACY tab, click on the SITES button, then type in the address of the websites you don't want in the space provided, hit the BLOCK botton, then the OK button. You are done and it should keep any more of unwanted spam, junk, etc. email from getting into your mailbox. I know everybody does not have the same system, but this works for Microsoft Internet Exporer with your IP through them. Sorry, I got carried away babbling on and on

So, anyway, you keep down the risks if you take the time to do the research. Good luck!

Very excellent advice, everyone, and I thank you. I didn't have to wait long for a small reward. I got $1 from Inbox Dollars, $2 from Esearch and just today (drum roll please!) I received a 2-night hotel stay from ENC. I kept looking for the strings or requirements or restrictions, but there weren't any. It was a long survey, but well worth it!

What can I say but..."Way to Go!" Being patient really pays off, and even better, you didn't have to be patient very long. You are off to a great start and it should only get better from here. Good going!

I've tried some of the survey sites, but wasn't very pleased with the payouts. It just seemed like a lot of work for very little hourly pay. I suppose you could make a good monthly allowance...but considering the time put into it, I'd rather do a 'get paid to do' offer. Although some of them cost a dollar or five, the payouts are tremendously more...and come more often...sometime every other week.
Just a thought...

I suppose in the 'get rich quick' stakes surveys, ptr, etc. are not up there near the top, but they are a sustainable residual income. If you do not have or do not want to use an initial or continued investment (ie FREE) they are ideal to make a few bucks.
On the other hand are the so called 'get paid to do' sites any better? Sign up, do a few offers, enlist multiple referrals then what, are they sustainable? In 3-6 months time are these exaggerated earnings still attainable? Are they in fact only good for the promoter, spammer or cheerleader who enjoys continually selling these types of programs to who ever will fall for there rhetoric?
Only one person really gets rich from this type of program & that is the owner.
Just a thought.

Hi, nccatim. Which site do you mean exactly? Sorry, but this thread includes more than one so I'm not to clear on which one you mean. All the same though, you can always do a 'search' of the downline builder to find out what you need to know. If you look at the top of your screen you will see some options listed for you, with one of them being the 'Search' tool. If you click on that you will be brought to a page where you can fill in the name of the program you are talking about and do a 'SEARCH' for it that way. If you decide to do this, make sure to choose 'Any Date' as the option for which date you wish to search for. This way you can be sure not to miss something that may have been posted a long time ago and may have just been 'forgotten' about. The search tool technique is likely your best bet to find out if anything has yet been 'started' (anywhere) in the forum. If you are unsure of how to do this or have any other questions, ask away.
Good luck! :)
