Of all the survey sites out there, SurveySpot stands out in my mind. I signed up through there website a little over 6 months ago and it has been such a pleasure to be a part of their research panel. The sign-up process is quick and simple and an example to be followed by others. The sign-up page is just one page with enough information to get a basic demographic profile instead of a lengthy multiple-paged application that most sites use.
The Layout of the site is very simplistic as is the layout for the surveys. They cut all the clutter that most survey sites burden their panelists with and keep just the basics. The Logo for the site is a cute little Dalmatian dog, which I assume to be a pun. (Survey…Spot).
Out of every survey site I’ve subscribed to SurveySpot gives the most survey invitations per month. More surveys per month means more chances to win the sweepstakes and more chances to earn incentives. Most of SurveySpot’s surveys award an entry into a sweepstakes; however, some surveys do offer a cash incentive for completing them. The ratio is about 5:1 for cash to sweepstakes, meaning a lot more sweepstakes than cash surveys. I personally have completed a survey for $10 then a follow-up for $10 for a total of $25 for the survey. I expect to get the check in the mail soon. SurveySpot only pays through checks they don’t use paypal. Overall I would rate SurveySpot as one of the top 10 survey sites I’m subscribed to.
