Hello all, APest here,
I just wanted to the a moment and touch on a few basic pointers for the GPT world that I have learned over the years. If you are expecting to make your internet fortune with get paid to sites then you have it all wrong, sure some sites can 'help' a little but not near worth the time. They are all based on the same factor (except for a VERY few) you sign up free and expect others to advertise on these sites for you to make money, a few cents at a time.. Ok first wrong, without the proper balance of income to payouts a site will go belly up very fast and probably hold in there as long as they can before to many questions are asked about member payouts, then the webmasters vanish! So if you find a site with high click earnings and low ad prices beware.. look around and ask questions! Tainted services.. Most of these paid to sites now adays are just more ads to paid to sites and 'junk' fine for bouncing around back and forth for that online goldmine hope, but really nothing thats any good. You need to find the rare and unique and HONEST sites for the good stuff! Cheaters.... I won't go there as they already have :) I try to get a feel of the webmasters before I jump aboard of a site (recently I got slack with this and got burned hard). Send a question or 2 too the webmaster/admins via the contact, check reply time (resonable maybe a couple days) in there response you can read between the lines.. Friendly, supportive, rude.... list goes on. Maybe do some searchs for problems of the site, read forums, web searchs.... READ the TOS(Terms) and understand them. Basicly look around. If you do have something to advertise and you want results, look towards other means then paid to advertising, even if it is more costly generally well worth it over the cheaters/scammers.. Don't get me wrong I advertise on a few paid to sites vut I have build a trust up with them and generally they turn a good lead or 2. If you need to put money into a site don't outspend yourself. Only put in what you can afford to lose! Paid to surf sites with daily % interest on your accounts may/maynot work out for you. They all need other members to purchase before they can pay you out, just look at the math in a site, unless they have other backin sites but look into that! Does it sound right that I will give you a free account with $10 bucks in it and pay you x% daily just to surf? Ok, sounds fair but if all members did that where are the site admins gonna pay you from?? They need income to cover the cost! Just beware.... Well thats about enough for now but I will be back. PS: This is written out of my PERSONAL opinion. If you are a GPT site owner and disagree thats ok you are allowed to. If you keep your sites honest and reliable then there is not problem, its when you stray that you get caught :) APesT Out... B) PPS: Feel free to add your thoughts, give more people a general practice idea.. |

This is very true and well spoken.
Several places come to mind from reading that thread, and every one of them are pure scams. I will spare them the shame of being mentioned ...for now. Thanks for sharing, APesT... this is a must read for anyone getting started in GPT. -Brandon |

Alright Round 2:
There are many variations of Get Paid To sites: Survey, Click, Read, Exchange, Promote, Drive, Tasks, Signup... the list grows daily. Surveys: These are basicly for the people that want in on options to give there feedback. Certain sites out there will pay you to give your opinion(survey) others will reward you with coupons, raffles, draws and many other ways to get you interested. Most of this sites generally asking the questions for someone else. Example: Company A wants input on a product so they pay SurveySite to conduct a survey to a list of members that have agreed to take there surveys. Some are different and run there own. When the SurveySite gets there data all compiled they send it to Company A and then they get paid and pass on there rewards/cash to the members that took the survey. Where else can you get unlimited supply of people to answer some questions? Not sure on the kind of money involved but probably a LARGE chunk would go to the SurveySite. Most are based on a certain target of users, say like males in there 20's who use XBrand deoderant. Plain simple and easy. Click Sites: Pay members to click another members links and stay on there site for X amount of time. Sounds simple but needs a fine balance of cost per ad and ref bonus % and link click payout and well all income vs expense. These can be a real money loss if you just throw all your cash into advertising. Read and understand the site workings and math before you try or buy. Paid Read: Basicly paid to get emails and read them and click the link and visit the advertised web link for x amount of time. Once again balance of the site needed and well don't expect the email you use for these to stay spam free. Generally if you are using any of these try to use a disposable email addy (one you can drop and start a new one). Exchanges: You view others sites to gain impressions for yours. Simple! Lots are free and even offer you a % daily. Read the above post from me on this. Promote: You get paid to promote your link. You sign up at a site and they give you a link www.sitename.com/?ref=user you then promote your link or advertise it out on the net and you get paid X amount for every unique(usally) visitor your link pulls in. This is usally a really low amount 0.0001cent or less. These are FAMOUS for cheaters as it is easy to cheat them. If a webmaster is not paying attention or has poor script they can loss alot of cash fast and go belly up. Drive: Yet I personally have never seen this kind of advertising in person, apparently it exsists. Companies will buy you a vehicle and give it to you and all you have to do is promote the company on your vehicle. Or they pay you to put there companies advertisments on your car. I can't say for sure as this is not really a known method for me... Search the net for more info. Tasks: You get paid/rewarded for doing tasks online. I want you to buy a product from a company I get commmisions from so i pay you $5 to buy it. Generally I would get allot more then that in return in commisions but a ok way to basicly get a discount. You see alot more of this kinda GPT around now a days. Signup: You get paid to signup to a site free/paid. Say I want to build a fast downline I can go to companies that have database full of contacts. I pay the company X amount $ and they send me X amount of members to signup to my requested site. Lots of these are going to the birds lately as this can get expensive fast! Read up on these kinda sites carefully for all there terms. Well thats about it for this post. Hope people are actually reading these or I just wasted some time LOL Will see what I have to say next time. Laterz all, and good luck. APesT PS: Feel free to correct anything above as I don't claim to be a genius :) |

Your detailed posts are incredible. I'm sure the other members here will be most appreciative -even if they don't post. Hopefully the more active ones will give their input also. -Brandon |

Hmm are you trying to tell me I need to post a reply to this?
Think all newbies who are trying to do PTR's should read this first. I haven't gotten to read Part 2 yet since my youngest decides to have melt down each time I sit down at this computer <_< But if I sit at the laptop in the living room no problem - go figure LOL (kids!) Will be reading and will try to post my 2 cents (probably what it will be worth too LOL) So far great read for newbies (and those who started but aren't doing so great! |
