How does the Ad-Revenue Sharing program work?
On our site, we have a program in place to share ad revenue between our members and the administrator. Since you, the members, are what drives the site, this is our way of allowing you to profit from it.
To encourage users to reply to topics and start new topics, our ad revenue sharing is designed in a manner to reward the more active posters with a higher chance of their ads being displayed. When you are not viewing a topic, any ads displayed will belong to the site administrator. However, when you are viewing a topic, we will shuffle between the site administrator's ads, and the ad accounts of the topic starter, last poster, and other posters based on a probability factor. Specifically, our ads are displayed based on the following probability:

- Percentage of time site owner's ads will display: 50%
- Percentage of time topic starter's ads will display: 25%
- Percentage of time last poster's ads will display: 15%
- Percentage of time any other poster's ads will display: 10%
- Once you hit 1000 posts, no ads will be displayed!
How can I participate?
Currently, our ad program supports Google Adsense and Yahoo! ad accounts. To participate and have your ads displayed, you will need to first sign up for a Google Adsense Publisher account or a Yahoo! Publisher Network account.
After you have signed up for your account, you will need to enter in your details (this would be your client id (and optionally your channel id) if using Google Adsense, or your partner id (and optionally your section id) if using Yahoo! Publisher) in your User Control Panel. Just click 'My Controls', and then click 'Your Advertising Settings' to enter in your details, and finally click 'Save Settings'.
After you have done this, that's all you need to do! Start posting to increase the chances of your ads being displayed. The more topics you start, and reply to, the more often your ad account will be thrown into the mix. If you are unsure of your client ID or channel ID (for Google), or your partner id or section id (for Yahoo!), log into your Google or Yahoo! account and go through the steps to make a banner. You will be presented with some javascript code when you are finished. Enter it below and we will show you the information you will need to enter into your control panel
